juice is very mechanical out there. he has the stronger arm, but i wouldn't say he's the better passer, nor would i say he's a better runner. he may be a bit smarter, but that's not saying much. how about we just go young and throw in charest? I'd have no problem with that either. Hopefully Scheelhaase gets a fair shot to win the job outright next year.

Giordano was a confusing type of player. From my observations, he was unbelievably fast but not necessarily as quick. He was a big hitter but I don't remember him being a good safety against either the pass or the run (although not absolutely awful at either). He was a good special teams player. He's the type of safety who will really impress on certain plays but doesn't really hold up to scrutiny over a full game. Some people really liked him as a Colt though and couldn't understand why he kept falling further down the depth chart each year so there are definitely differing opinions about him out there. Thanks. It sounds like he should be an improvement over what we have now at the backup safety spots, so that's a plus.

Can any of you Colt fans give me a scouting report on Matt Giordano? From my recollection of him, he wasn't anything great but he was a serviceable safety.

Awesome post, especially the last part. I have no idea why we're getting away from what works with this offense. The best part of this offense is that all the receivers that we have are excellent at YAC. I think I counted like 2 or 3 slants the whole game out of the 39 passes that Rodgers threw on Sunday. Unacceptable. I'm convinced Jarrett Bush is a cat too.

Bradley Suspended for the Rest of the Season

1. When did Bradley do this? 2. Who [expletive] cares? Your skin seems to be as thin as Bradley's. He said the fans were involved in creating a completely negative environment and that he doesn't like playing in Chicago. He's also brought up racism, which rightly or wrongly people tend to take as directed towards a large part of the fanbase. As the head of an organization who survives based on how many people come to a game to see your product, you don't want one of your supposed main attractions saying those types of things to the fans you're trying to get to spend money, especially during times like this. He never, not once, said that he doesn't like playing in Chicago. I swear, some people just try to twist his words into believing what they want to believe. -
Aaron Rouse was cut today and we signed former Colt great Matt Giordano. We have some issues at safety as Bigby is supposed to be out until after the bye week and Collins is doubtful this week. It amazes me how Jarrett Bush gets chance after chance to stay on this team. If Marc Bulger doesn't attack the middle of the field on Sunday, he's the dumbest QB in the league.

Ryan Hare was arrested over the weekend for battery. He put a guy in the hospital after he found out that his girlfriend was cheating on him. Pretty brutal considering he looked real good at the end of his freshman year last season and he was supposed to have a major role on this year's team. As if our basketball program needed any of this after the last couple of years. He was suspended indefinitely, but we'll see how long that actually is.
