I can't think of one thing that Lovie does better than the average coach either. How about this year where everybody was saying the Bears were going to be lucky to win 5 or 6 games, yet they're 8-3 through the 11 game mark?

Ok, Bears fans really need to give that up. I would not ever give up something that would make my team better. Fisher makes the Bears automatically better. What has Fisher done that Lovie hasn't?

Why is Tracy McGrady getting about the same amount of burn as Ben Gordon? Better yet, why doesn't Gordon shoot anymore? He's only taken 39 three point attempts all season, compared to 151 total shot attempts. He's shooting 52% from the field and 46% from 3. I hope it was worth signing him to that long deal when he's the 3rd guard on a team that's pretty bad.

McCarthy wasn't the one who grabbed a facemask at the absolute worst time. I agree, I'm just sick of the awful play calling and terrible game management. His record in close games is atrocious. Get someone in there who can win close games, and we could be looking at a Lombardi trophy with Grant, and Finley coming back next year. You're upset, which is understandable, but if you want to hang this loss on someone you should hang it squarely on the idiot who committed one of the most obvious, blatant facemask penalties I have ever seen in over 30 years of watching football -- and at the very worst possible moment imaginable. It was obvious that our coverage unit was going to blow it.

I can't wait until some idiotic talking head blames Rodgers for another close L. Four losses this season, all on the very last play of the game for the winning team. I don't think I've ever seen a season like this. Just beat SF and Detroit the next two weeks, and we should be fine. I still think we can beat any team in the league.

Went to the Sears Center last night for SIU-Purdue. At least it looks like our defensive effort is starting to come back. Our offensive sets are incredibly primitive, though. We kept it close for a half and lost by 19, which is exactly what I expected. Then today, we won an ugly one against Wright State. If the defensive effort is actually there this season, I'll be very pleased.

To be fair, the offense really isn't helping them out either. the offense hasn't allowed 500 yards in 3 quarters of play. I was talking about the 6 turnovers.

I've lost a lot of interest in the college football season after last night's events.

can you explain your disdain for boise? The blue field. The hatred is completely irrational but they infuriate me, and I'm pretty sure it goes back to the Blue field. The Statue of Liberty play, the "America's Sweetheart" crap. The lack of any good teams on their schedule. The fact they can play one game a season and go to a BCS game. Yeah that is pretty irrational. I can't understand why anyone would dislike Boise State unless they were playing them. I don't get it either. It doesn't make any sense to me, but to each his own.

oregon barely beat cal, which got blown out by nevada. yet this game is evidence that boise is nowhere near the best team in the country. right. Oregon has to play more than 3 real teams this year though. They've played two bowl eligible teams this season. Congrats.

Boise's defense has looked pretty bad this entire half.

This is getting ridiculous. The last three big calls/no-calls have gone against them. All of the calls have been wrong too.
