  1. To go alongside this, Cutler's projected 16 game totals based on his play this year 416/611 68.1% 4,469 yards 7.32 YPA 35 TD 16 INT 97.4 rating This is good [expletive]. I'm gonna school some fools at work. He's also on pace to go 8-8, because he's not a winner or a leader.
  2. Willie Young came into the season with 6 career sacks in 4 seasons. He leads the league with 7 this year. Julius Peppers led the team last year with 7.5.
  3. At least from Briggs and Williams. McClellin was playing decent before he got hurt, so I don't think they should pull the plug there quite yet. Of course since that's not really an option until after the season, for now I'd like to see both Sharpton and Greene rotated in when the old guys come back. At this point in their careers both Briggs/Williams could use plays off. Yeah no reason to move on from McClellin. I'd probably start Bostic though at SLB. McClellin is still developing, has experience at multiple positions, and is pretty cheap with another year after this on his rookie deal. Not a ton of pressure to get him on the field every down.
  4. Conversely, the Giants have @ Dallas, Indy, @ Seattle, SF, Dallas. Teams that have combined to lose 2 games in the last 5 weeks.
  5. Amazing play. Would have been another 0 point drive due to time management. Mills completely whiffed a block on a play where he could do anything but whiff a block and give up a sack. A holding call and it's still a very makeable FG.
  6. In Calvin Johnson's spot in my lineup was Andrew Hawkins. Thought this was a good pick. Final round pick. Never started him, but he had at least 7 targets in every game so far. Puts up 0 catches for 0 yards. 0 points. Same as Calvin Johnson who didn't play. My flex, Kendall Wright, had 1 catch, 6 yards for 1.6 points. Yet somehow, I had a 15+ point lead going into SNF. My opponent had Maclin and Eagles K left to play. After a 45 yard FG, Cody Parker had 10 points. He finished with just 11. But Maclin only put up 3.6, giving me a win by less than 2 points (got .5 points for a Hawkins tackle on an INT overnight).
  7. Man...there's nothing quite like a safety that's frequently concussed and with two bad shoulders. Can't beat it. He's played really well though. Seems like a good time to get him a couple weeks off. Can't keep letting him go out there and get hurt every week. Give him thru the bye week to heal up.
  8. I think you should be mad at your league's scoring. How the hell did the Eagles D score 30 in your league without a defensive TD, and only 1 turnover? My league is the same. 12 points for allowing 0 points, 2 points per sack, 2 points per turnover Did they have 8 sacks? I guess mine is the same then too. I didn't know they had that many. Edit: no, all my leagues are 1 point per sack and 10 per shutout.

  10. Your NFL leader in receptions: MATT FORTE On pace for 122 catches and 1003 yards receiving to go along with 1064 rushing.
  11. Yeah that's my biggest need of the offseason. Speed on defense, particularly at LB or safety.
  12. They also loved Houston Can't win em all. Who says they're wrong? Exactly. He has been doing his job IMO. Yeah the #s aren't showing up, but he's doing what he's supposed in most of his plays and that's why PFF loves Houston. Plus isn't he like 5th-6th in QB hurries/hits before today? I was kidding. He's pretty much been as advertised. Never been a big sack guy. But great run D and versatile putting pressure on at different spots on the line.
  13. The hits early by Conte, Mundy and Sharpton really changed the game. Fuller and Jennings stepped up against Julio. Roddy White sucks now. Hurst did a great job in the slot. He didn't get picked on like Frey has/would have. Sharpton really had a good game. He is known as a 2-down LB, but he did some really good things in coverage. Greene also stepped up after being inactive most weeks and stayed in on the nickel, while leading the team in tackles. And of course, the D-line was great. Paea was there early, then Houston made a couple plays, then they collapsed the pocket late with Allen and Young. Really a big feat to hold Atlanta to 13 points in the dome with 0 LBs who should be on the field, all while breaking in a new nickelback and replacing a safety midway thru the game.

  15. Hahaha. PFF loved Young. They were right.
  16. Ugh. We drafted this punter.
  17. I will point out that I called Hurst to make the roster this year. ..last year and have been calling for him to get a shot at nickel for a couple weeks (along with Vereen). He's been brilliant today
  18. FROM NOW ON. .....THIS IS HOW YOU PLAY FOOTBALL!
  19. My fantasy team really would like a Matt Ryan INT. And an Ellington TD in Arizona would help too.
  20. Ugh. Take the play. No more special teams.
  21. He's looked pretty good all game to me. Houston has too.
  22. Lets get a stop and win.
  23. Even if you reestablish you can't be the first to touch the ball. If u are forced out u can reestablish.
