  1. Even in offering up respect Don Banks completely disrespects the Bears. Winning in a shutout fashion on short rest in short week against a winning team from the supposedly superior AFC. They may be the only team to have beaten Buffalo in regulation this year. They beat Dallas when Dallas was still considered a threat, and beat Green Bay. They dismantled Favre's Vikings. How is this the first win that garners respect? And how have you not been able to see that if things go right this team clearly as the defense and the quarterback to make a "why not us" statement plausible? In defense of most of the world, that Giants game was possibly the worst game any offense has ever played.....not even an exaggeration. The media has hung it's hat on that game as proof that the Bears aren't good for 2 months. Losing at home to Seattle and to Washington with Cutler's 4 INTs added fuel to the fire.
  2. True. But you are talking about 2 guys that were among the top players in the league at their positions as recently as 2 years ago. And they are only 32 and 31 respectively opening day, so a turnaround isn't out of the realm of possibility.
  3. Peyton Manning kinda sucks right now.
  4. More like Dirk, because he at least tries.
  5. Jay Cutler now is at a .500 record for his NFL career.
  6. Ok, need a Bears TD here and then let Vick get me some cheap fantasy points on a prevent defense.
  7. Damn Cutler is making some wonderful throws. This is why you trade a 1st and 3rd for him!
  8. OL doesn't like Chester Taylor.
  9. Cutler righthanded = 9 for 12, 175 yards, 4 TDs Cutler lefthanded = 1 for 1, 7 yards.
  10. What was that? Who cares, it worked.
  11. The ladies like that move too. especially on the 7th floor Damn right. G-REG!
  12. The ladies like that move too.
  13. OOPS! HAHAHAHA! I can't lie, I couldn't see it either.
  14. Tied now with that INT.
  15. Cutler's throwing some MFing darts today.
  16. Ok. gotta get 6 now.
  17. Hope to get at least a 10 point swing here. INT in endzone to at least FG. :beg:
  18. They will probably get an at-large to the Orange Bowl. Missouri's going to get dumped in the Insight Bowl. 10-2 and they get [expletive]. So, basically the Orange Bowl gets first choice?
  19. So, why isn't Stanford going to the Rose Bowl? I heard talk about this this morning. Didn't say where they would go, but said Wisconsin vs. TCU in the rose. Wisconsin v. Stanford would be a wonderful game.
  20. Eagles OL is not very good. Given up the 5th most sacks in the league. A lot is due to Vick holding the ball too long, but Kolb got sacked 10 times in his 4 games. They've given up 7 sacks in the last 3 games, and that includes only giving up 1 in a game they scored 59 on a Redskins team that wasn't really trying.
  21. I think you (and everyone else) is selling the Bears way too short. All those teams are even or 1-game better than the Bears in record. Yet, the Bears are the only one of those teams that get picked against every week unless they are playing a cupcake. And even still, you can only give them a "maybe" over a Minnesota team they beat soundly a couple weeks ago. All 4 of those teams have bad losses and all 4 have shaky wins. The Bears get 3 of those 4 games at home, and the other where they've had success in recent history. I think 3-3 is most likely, but wouldn't be surprised to see them win today and one of the AFC East games.
  22. 44 with 14mph winds.
