  1. I think it's time to start evaluating if I'm an "IU hater" or if this team is actually all that good. Besides pounding crap teams, there's the win over Minnesota -- which sure felt like a loss to me. Slow the game down, make it a grinder, and viola, you beat Indiana. How the hell did Minnesota feel like a loss? And slowing the game down only works if u are good. The only good team that is methodical is Wisconsin. Georgia slowing the game down just made IU take longer to win. IU gets so much off turnovers and from opportunistic 3s and Wisconsin took that away by sticking on Hulls and not giving the ball away. No other team currently on the schedule will be able to do that.
  2. Poked in the eye by Sheehey.
  3. Shitty loss. Can't lose a game like this at home. Wisconsin just doesn't allow outside shooting and IU wasn't able to spread the floor and lost patience sticking with Zeller and Watford inside. Will Sheehey has 0 points in the last 2 games. He averaged 12 before Saturday.
  4. Now tell us how many you would have legitimately called on him this game?
  5. Evans has travelled 3 huge times that didn't get called. One he got a charge, one he hit a prayer shot, then he got a timeout.
  6. I think Lovie has too much pride to go the college route. Everyone knows he wants to be an HC in the NFL again. And I'm pretty sure he wants to as he interviewed several places this offseason. I do think his style would play well at the college level though. I think he'd be a great recruiter, especially in the Texas area. I think college kids would really love playing for him.
  7. You're the one that threw out the word "owns". When 1/3 of Ryan's wins vs Crean came when Crean had a team that everyone owned. The post was to point out that "owned" was probably a little much.
  8. On NFLN they said that Emery wants to have a coach in place by the 19th.
  9. Dont sleep on Will Beatty. He's a pretty good young lineman. He's a nice fallback option.
  10. Bo owns Crean. Berg shut down Zeller last year. Badgers have 10 game win streak vs. Indy. But it'll take a perfect game to keep all that going, especially in Bloomington. Zeller put up 17 in the B1G Tourney vs. Wisconsin last year. The difference between this year and last year should be that Wisconsin won't be able to provide an answer for Yogi Ferrell and an aggressive Victor Oladipo. Forgot about that, was thinking of regular season. Zeller put up 17 but only 1 board in tourney, Berg had 16 and 9. True. I hope Zeller is more equipped to handle a guy getting physical against him this year though. Watford has given them trouble over the last couple years though. Has a good height advantage over Evans.
  11. Yeah, Warmack won't be there. The lack of top end OTs will make teams reach more for OGs. And he may not even be a reach as I think he's probably a top 5 talent in the draft, just doesn't play a real valuable position. I really like Jonathan Cooper though, who should be there, though I think 20 may be a little early for him.
  12. Yeah, if that's who the Bears want, then they should get him. They are the best situation for a new coach. They are the closest team to winning a championship of those looking for a coach. They got the QB in place, have some weapons (could use 1 more), have the defense.

  14. Would help a lot. Even though the Bears easily need 3 starters on the OL, it's a little much for 1 offseason and not the best use of resources. IMO. If they could get Long and Warmack, I'd go LB, WR, or TE in the 2nd.
  15. Best call was the non timeout call after the Wilson scramble
  16. 1976 Hoosiers can celebrate.
  17. No one gets in trouble for recruiting anymore. I would do it. I'm tired of being crap. I'm sure you guys would still find a way to make Kelvin Sampson jokes and worry about IUs scholarship situation. :hello: Oh hadn't seen you since you started [expletive] your pants about Indiana blowing that 98 point lead vs Minnesota. Which ironically was the same number of points Illinois lost by yesterday.
  18. I think the same about this game in the AFC.

  20. Zeller fouled Mbakwe way before he fell down. I don't think he pushed him down. But he did bump him earky and Mbakwe was unable to keep his balance. Still a foul, but it shouldve been called before Mbakwe hit the ground.
  21. Nobody wants to talk about that.
  22. [expletive] ALL THE HATERS! Don't let up.
  23. Love Cody fronting Mbakwe. Has the size and is ruining their whole offense.
  24. Cody play like u r the biggest best player on the court. Wat show up big. Gotta play tough and rebound the ball.
