  1. It's a fitting end to the worst U.S. Open ever.
  2. That pitch to Russell was just terrible. Batting practice.
  3. This whole thing with Gregory is weird. No one will come out and say what the deal is, but he's gone from being a top 10 pick to being a late/undrafted guy (according to some people). Bizarre.
  4. lol @ this dude's name being "Bastardo."
  5. The net didn't slow the ball down at all. She seemed like she was trying to get to her seat or something - her back was to the field. Hope she is ok.
  6. That's pretty crazy. She was just standing there.
  7. Last week, Mike and Mike revealed that Mel Kiper eats a piece of pumpkin pie with whip cream every single day...for breakfast. Apparently he's a really weird and quirky dude (surprise!). Between the Dracula haircut and the breakfast pumpkin pie, I am a pretty big Kiper fan.
  8. One of my friends said he could hear the game clearly too. He lives on Diversey and Sheffield. Might need to dial this in a bit.
  9. The new scoreboard is pretty loud. I can hear the organ music pretty distinctly in my condo about a half mile away. I could never hear it before.
  10. Bernsie is 50% quasi intellectual nonsense, 45% Jay Mariotti style trolling, and 5% giggling.
  11. I can't believe he said he is going to review the practice tape. That is just fantastic.
  12. This dude is the worst. "Trestman isn't sure why practice field success isn't carrying over to actual games" Hint: Maybe your practice hasn't been as "successful" as you think it has been.
  13. Looking forward to Teddy B's breakout game.
  14. But they had such a great week of practice!!!!111!11
  15. The Lakers are going to be REALLY bad. Defensively, they could be one of the worst in NBA history.
  16. The defense is what we thought it'd be. I'm not defending Tucker, he's bad. Just doesn't seem like there's much gain in letting him go now. The offense has been the underachieving part of this team, and seems like that's where the "consequences" should be. I don't disagree. I don't think firing him will really do much of anything this year. But it's par for the course for this team. They don't hold anyone accountable for anything.
  17. That's fantastic. They eventually did eventually manage to shut him down as he became so dehydrated from scoring so many touchdowns that he eventually had to leave the game.
  18. Regarding firing the DC, I think it would be nice to hold someone accountable for, well, anything. But I guess just saying everything is awesome is working pretty well too so maybe we should just stick with that.
  19. Yeah man gotta get back to the basics, the guys are doing everything we ask, *some random analytical thing to prove that we're just a few tweaks away from being a contender* Everyone is working hard.
  20. Don't worry, guys. Sounds like they'll fix everything over the bye week.
  21. Bears opened at +7.5 at 5dimes and are now down to +5.5. 60% of the bets by volume against the spread are for the Patriots, but the line is moving the other way. This usually indicates the game will be closer than the public expects. Take it for what it is worth.
