This whole thing with Gregory is weird. No one will come out and say what the deal is, but he's gone from being a top 10 pick to being a late/undrafted guy (according to some people). Bizarre.
Last week, Mike and Mike revealed that Mel Kiper eats a piece of pumpkin pie with whip cream every single day...for breakfast. Apparently he's a really weird and quirky dude (surprise!). Between the Dracula haircut and the breakfast pumpkin pie, I am a pretty big Kiper fan.
This dude is the worst. "Trestman isn't sure why practice field success isn't carrying over to actual games" Hint: Maybe your practice hasn't been as "successful" as you think it has been.
The defense is what we thought it'd be. I'm not defending Tucker, he's bad. Just doesn't seem like there's much gain in letting him go now. The offense has been the underachieving part of this team, and seems like that's where the "consequences" should be. I don't disagree. I don't think firing him will really do much of anything this year. But it's par for the course for this team. They don't hold anyone accountable for anything.
That's fantastic. They eventually did eventually manage to shut him down as he became so dehydrated from scoring so many touchdowns that he eventually had to leave the game.
Regarding firing the DC, I think it would be nice to hold someone accountable for, well, anything. But I guess just saying everything is awesome is working pretty well too so maybe we should just stick with that.
Yeah man gotta get back to the basics, the guys are doing everything we ask, *some random analytical thing to prove that we're just a few tweaks away from being a contender* Everyone is working hard.
Bears opened at +7.5 at 5dimes and are now down to +5.5. 60% of the bets by volume against the spread are for the Patriots, but the line is moving the other way. This usually indicates the game will be closer than the public expects. Take it for what it is worth.
