  1. @KevinCapie: #Chiefs mgr Kopitzke on no Soler Wednesday: "He's got a little something. Hopefully he'll be back tomorrow." A little something? the hiv I was going to go with bubonic plague.
  2. What the heck is up with this only starting Vitters against lefties crap? He had an OPS of .805 against righties at AAA. It's not like he's completely helpless against righties. Vitters needs to be starting everyday.
  3. Cedeno's with the Mets, not the Pirates.
  4. I'm loving that some prospects are finally starting to take walks.
  5. The Cubs are honoring Santo today, so OF COURSE the game is on CSN.
  6. Ditto. Castro, Rizzo, and Garza is a good start for building a winner.
  7. How has Vitters looked on defense this year?
  8. Did someone go back in time and erase Mariano Rivera from existence?
  9. Of course, the disclaimer being that 17 of those 23 runs were scored by the Mets in 1 game. Remove that outlier, and the Cubs are 4-0, having outscored their opponents 18-6.
  10. Brett Jackson hasn't struck out yet tonight!
  11. My completely worthless cable company carries FSN Midwest, and that's it. There is no way for me to get CSN Chicago from my cable company.
  12. Exactly. Rizzo should be starting every game, even if Cy Young was brought back from the dead to pitch against the Cubs.
  13. Yay Rizzo! Boo WCIU! Boo MLB's blackout rules!
  14. Can't say I've ever seen back-to-back 3 base errors. They weren't back-to-back. Johnson K'd in between them.
  15. I've been on the Candelario bandwagon since I noticed him taking an absurd number of walks last year in the DSL.
  16. Then Figueroa comes in and blows the perfecto, no-hitter, AND shutout.
  17. Yeah. The new sod isn't for Rizzo. The outfield needed new sod because it was severely damaged after the concert.
  18. Here's hoping Candelario continues to be a walk-taking machine.
  19. Two channels that I don't get. I wonder what it's like to actually get to watch Cubs games once in a while?
  20. Yeah. This sounds like the typical "Cubs come out of nowhere to destroy great pitcher." game to me.
  21. Most people are idiots.
  22. Jackson and Rizzo's homers were back-to-back, too.
  23. I think it's awesome that he's pitching again and dominating, even if it is only AAA.
  24. 2 IP tonight. 1 hit, 1 BB, 4 K, 32 pitches, 23 for strikes. Go Prior!
