    It is when Floyd and Izturis are in the lineup. what more do you want izturis to do today? To be out of the lineup? One day's game != a careers worth of sucking i agree all i'm saying is that i don't think Izturis is the problem with the offense today - i'm not talking about his career.

    Seriously, he looks like he has absolutely nothing today. I dont think ive ever seen him pitch anywhere near his hype. are we really going to go through another round of "this young guy with 40 big league innings under his belt is never going to amount to anything?" maybe you weren't here for rich hill last season. Ive seen enough of him this year to be much more encouraged than discouraged. As the Cubs 5th, ive seen a lot worse. I thought Zambrano was the 5th starter??

    I didn't watch the game yet, but is the velocity that far off...and can inconsistant mechanics be the reason for his loss of velocity and/or movement on the ball? I guess I'm asking if its possible he's NOT hurt, and just having a bad stretch that's fixable with some coaching. I have a bad feeling his hurt, but i'm a pessimist so I don't put too much thought behind this feeling. I know they cubs were sold, but it just seems odd they haven't locked him up. And even more to the point, since he's not locked up, for whatever reason taht is, that's usually when guys perform well, to get that big FA deal. Carlos seems lost. I don't know this to be the case or not but Santo said he was hitting 95 on the radar gun today. Whatever it is, he is going to cost himself a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    He shut them out last season. 8-0 vs Zambrano at Wrigley Field. he's a local boy too if I remember correctly. He's also on my fantasy team :)

I'm coming out there for the Iowa/PSU game this fall - what are the odds I'll be able to find a hotel room?? call now. they're building yet another hotel as we speak, but it's impossible to find a room if you wait too long Thanks I'll give it a try.
