    I live in Iowa - for those of you not familiar with my state I live 2 miles from the Field of Dreams - we also have no major leauge teams. Yet I believe we lead the league in blackouts. On EI we can't watch Cubs, Sox, Twins, Cardinals or Royals games - yet the closest major league team to me we can watch, the Brew crew. Ridiculous.

    I hear a lot of pot advocates try to downplay the dangers of smoking and driving. I don't hold the least bit of resentment against pot smoking myself, but the fact remains it's very much a problem. The only difference is fewer people do it. Oh, I'm not trying to downplay the danger of smoking and driving. You should not drive while impaired by ANYTHING. And that goes for painkillers too. Hell, that even goes for Nyquil. I was just noting that the primary cause of the crash was the fact he was drunk off his ass and on the cell phone. I would agree - I haven't smoked pot since before cell phones were invented but I know I am a lot more dangerous driving with a cell phone in my had than a joint. BTW I use a hands free device 99% of the time.
