  1. It is hard to believe he has has 9 home runs this year, because I don't think I can remember any of them. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. Keep those analytics to yourself! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. Cishek is broken now. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. Javy just made Almora's bunt attempt look spectacular by comparison. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. Awful bunt Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. Got probably an hour max to do it. I thought they don't end games before 9 anymore That only applies to the playoffs. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. That was an odd shift, but the ball was deep enough in the hole that I don't know if it would have mattered. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. I would have much rather walked the bases loaded there for the pitcher than go to De La Rosa. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. It has only been a week, but watching Murphy in a Cubs uniform reminds me a lot of Mark Grace. He is just a pure hitter, and it is fun to watch. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. I don't know how they couldn't at this point, but it is unfortunate that Texas is only on the hook for money if the Cubs take the buyout.
  11. Hamels still only threw 114 pitches. I can understand the concern if he was going well over 120, but 114 is a reasonable amount for 9 innings. While it wasn't completely necessary for him to pitch the 9th, I have no problem with it.
  12. How much of this season being no fun is that the Cubs have been so bad in stretches, versus baseball itself just being bad and boring with the lack of action? Is this just what baseball is now? Even when the Cubs were awful in previous years, I can't remember periods like this where every game was maddening to watch. I'm sure it is partially an overaction to the moment, but I do think MLB has a problem. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. Following this disaster of a season for Washington, does Dave Martinez even make it through next year? It seems that he may be in over his head as a manager, and based on his interview history I suspect that many other teams had already come to that same conclusion. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. I love a good pitcher's duel, but this series just feels more like bad baseball and two inept offenses. Whoever wins today, this was an atrocious 4 game series for both teams. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. The old 4-9-3, just like Tinker Evers and Chance used to do. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. Darvish left his start after 1 inning. Time to call this one. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  17. Cubs hitters sure seem to be swinging through a lot of fastballs down the middle of the plate. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. Well, there is at least one young player from the "core" that the Cubs won't have to worry about re-signing. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. Four out of the five Cubs pitchers used so far tonight were not in the organization a month ago. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. The strikeout pitch truly was a foot outside. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  21. Replay needs a revamp. If MLB really cares about pace of play, they should forget about analyzing frame by frame looking for infinitesimally small margins to overturn a call. Take a quick look from all available angles. Either the call is obviously wrong, or it stands. Less than one minute to review, no exceptions. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
