  1. Coffey is going to sign with the Dodgers. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/02/dodgers-to-sign-todd-coffey.html
  2. I bet Duncan retires, too.
  3. If I'm not mistaken, part of Kosuke's current contract states teams aren't allowed to offer him arbitration so if my interpretation of the situation is accurate, I don't think keeping Fukudome and receiving a compensation pick this offseason is even an option. That's correct. (or, at least, that's what MLB trade rumors says)
  4. Now watch the Cubs go down 1-2-3 on about 5 pitches.
  5. Yeah and most of these fans seem to like every other Chicago team too, just not the Bears. What, Ditka sh@t on someone's meatloaf? I don't get it. I have a unique set of teams myself (Cubs, Bears, Magic, Lightning), but it's not as if I have an aberration for one sport where I choose to root for the #1 rival to the city of teams I root for otherwise. I don't have a genuine problem with it, it's just odd. Damn right. I have a friend who is somehow a Red Sox fan and a Knicks fan. I want him to be studied by science. Is this some sort of April Fool's joke?
  6. Too bad the OP doesn't know the difference between "they're" and "there."
  7. Those are just recent nightmares.
  8. The Tribe picks up right where they left off with a single and a double to start the 4th.
  9. Cox does have one heck of an eye for talent. Chipper Jones was HIS DECISION. He also help signed Latino's like Furcal, Lopez, etc, etc. The problem with Cox is that he can't coach up the talent he finds.... Come on. Chipper was the number 1 overall pick and spent less than two years in the minors. Only a really dumb person would have passed on Chipper. Thankfully for Chipper, Dusty never managed the Braves.
  10. What about the Glenallen Hill, Jose Hernandez, Sammy Sosa outfield that the Cubs used for a time in 1998?
  11. Kosuke flies to deep left on the first pitch.
  12. 3-1 on Giles. His control is non-existent.
