    Yes, we ruled that ARod was a FA. It's a points league, and you start every year with zero points. No point exemptions. 16 team league, with 24 players, you keep 13 guys every year. Anyone who is a FA during the offseason goes into the pool. FA 2B: Freddy Sanchez, Felipe Lopez, Jose Lopez, Luis Castillo, Mark Ellis, Ty Wigginton, Ray Durham, Mark DeRosa, Kaz Matsui, Maicier Izturis. FA SS: Khalil Greene, Felipe Lopez, Julio Lugo, Yuneisky Betancourt, Theriot, Jason Bartlett, Bobby Crosby.

    I have no idea who to draft in my keeper league. Anyone who is a free agent goes back into the pool, so that's pretty much who I'll be choosing from. I got stuck with the 2nd pick in the draft. Of course, the first guy took ARod. Right now I'm looking at Torii Hunter or Francisco Cordero. I have Ankiel, Hideki Matsui, and Rocco Baldelli in the OF right now, and my only RP is Manny Corpas. Any ideas/advice? I have a full rotation, with Pedro, Sheets, Billingsley, Maine, and Matsuzaka. I also kept Carlos Pena, Joey Votto, Jeff Kent, and Ramon Hernandez.

    I agree that Gomes is a much better choice over Cantu. He was good in 05. He stunk last year while trying to play with an injured shoulder. Those other moves...well, they're moves that only the Devil Rays could make...

    Yes, the rule for this league is when someone goes FA in real life, your team loses that player. I didn't list keepers, because we keep 14 guys, so the only good non-keepers, at least in the first rounds, are FA guys. It's a points league with 16 teams. If #2 or #3 takes a pitcher or someone besides Lee or Ramirez, I'm going with Clee or Aram. Daisuke is probably the best choice if those 2 guys go. Anymore input would be great.

    My keeper league draft has begun, and I have the #4 pick overall. Soriano just went #1. Of the big names (free agents, since this is a keeper league), who do you think would be available at #4, and who should I grab? I'm betting Ramirez and Carlos Lee go with the next 2 picks, leaving me probably wanting a pitcher, but not really sure who to gamble on. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    In one yahoo autodraft league I wound up with A-Rod, Ramirez, and Ensberg. Thankfully I have 2 UP spots, so 1 guy will play 3B and the other 2 will play UP. I've gotten a couple crap offers for Ensberg, but only a fool would drop Ensberg, or Howard.

    Would you trade Randy Winn for Ambriox Burgos? This is in an 18-team keeper points league. All the closers and top set-up guys are gone. My pen currently has: Villareal, Orvella, Linebrink, and Putz. My OF currently has: Gomes, Winn, Griffey, Baldelli, and Bradley.
