    I have a gut feeling we'll work out a 3-5 team trade with the big parts involving Soriano, ManRam, Corey, lots of prospects and lots of cash. I haven't worked out any particular, it's just a feeling at this point.

    I am as well however, it must be LF and not 2B as I've read of Walker going to Texas in a Soriano deal. Walker' a consistent hitter, Soriano one day, he'll go 4-4 the next 0-4 with 3K's, the Cubs don't need this type of hitter at the cost of Walker. Then he'd be (Todd)Walker, Texas Ranger.

    If we're talking about someone Dusty will play over Holly, then yes. I still think Murton should get a shot until he proves he can't handle it, unless of course a monster should come our way (Huff, ManRam). Can't you just see Dusty not playing Huff or someone right away? "We've got to ease the dude in, man. I mean, he doesn't have any experience in our ballpark, and that's big, dude." I say with a fair about of honesty that Dusty would by lynched if he benched Huff. We'd HAVE to find a new manager after that fiasco.

    No way the Reds trade Dunn to the Cardinals. Even if the Cards ponied up enough to make it worth it they'd have to see that as conceding the division for the next 5 years. They'd be stupid to trade him within the division.

    fwiw I've been batting Murton #2 in MVP 2005, and he's been tearing it up. I think by next year he's going to be exactly what we need. I'm developing such manlove for this guy.

    I wouldn't take Blanco out as hot as he's been. Barrett's been the unclutch guy recently.

    So I edited Henry Blanco in my MVP 2005 season so he wears number 24. Through 34 games he's batting .683

    Trust me, you don't. It's like watching Gigli. Everyone wanted to watch it to see just how bad it was... then they were kicking themselves after. Yeah, those BP ones are starting to get on my nerves too. They aren't as bad as they Old Style ones though. Lies. The Wild Bean Cafe commercials are the worst ever. Think about it - someone got paid to come up with those obscure (kind of) connections between coffee and baseball. Stop making crappy radio ads.

    radio commercials. be happy you don't hear them. Are you talking about those Old Style Light instructional series commercials? Those make me want to hurt small animals... Though the one with the letter from the Cardinals fan was pretty funny.
