  3. I found the song download today for Fred and I thought the rest of nsbb should get it if they don't already have it. It is not im mp3 format thought... its in real one player format (.ram). http://www.baseball-almanac.com/poetry/po_cubs.shtml You will see it on the left side of the page where it says "audio moment"

  5. 1. Felix Pie, OF Might have a shot to play centerfield for the Cubs this year if not for a bruised foot. Athletic with good speed, he finally showed some power, hitting .304 with 11 HR in AA. 2. Mark Pawelek, LHP The Cubs' top pick im 2005 features plus movement on his fastball and curveball andhas an athletic frame. He posted a 2.54 ERA in rookie baseball. 3. Angel Guzman, RHP Throws three pitches (fastball, curveball, change) with the same delivery. Shoulder and elbow injuries limited him to 14 1/3 innings last year. 4. Sean Marshall, LHP Overcame a finger injury to post a 2.68 ERA and a .229 OBA b/n class AA and high A ball. He features a plus curveball and power sinker. 5. Ryan Harvey, OF Has as much raw power as any hitter in the organization, but must improve his contact rate and plate discipline (0.18 BB/K). He hit .257-24-100 in low class A 6. Rich Hill, LHP Has always missed bats, but improved his command last year and went 11-4 with a 3.31 ERA at 3 levels. He succeeds bylocating his two curveballs well 7. Donald Veal, LHP A pitcher laden with potential who notched a 3.18 ERA and 10.9 K/9IP at 2 rookie levels/ He relies on his fastball but must improve his other pitches. 8. Brandon Sing, 1B Possesses good bat speed and is patient enough to draw walks. He hit .276-26-71 in class AA, but a long swing could leave bim exposed in the majors 9. Eric Patterson, 2B The brother of Corey Patterson showed an improved bat, hitting .325 with 13 homers and 43 steals at two levels. He improved his walk rate and defense. 10. Grant Johnson, RHP Generates plus movement to his fastball and slider, but his lack of a changeup and injury history could mean he ends up in relief. He sported a 3.82 ERA in lo Class A

  16. Yep, that happened and I was pumped because I was on vacation in Chicago and was gonna see the Cubs host the Phillies in the game after the short two game series with Atlanta. I was so pumped because the offense was on fire and the Cubs had just acquired Aramis Ramirez and Kenny Lofton. Of course, they lost 3-0 with K-Lo, Aram, and Sammy coming with an 0-12.
