    Bob's Keeper, can you get a split between his first start and weds start on that graph. I would like to see the difference between the 2 starts. I wonder if weds start was more precise due to the conditions favouring hitters.

    Is it possible??. Any of you who didn't get a chance to see him today catch the replay he was simply majestic. I can't see a 19-9 season but how about a 17-11 with an era of around 3.75?? would that be acceptable or do we need a magical maddux season to contend??. The way he finishes hitters off after getting ahead is amazing to watch, especially as he rarely hits 89 on the gun!! It would be a fairytale to see greg pitch in the post season for us.

    Watched Sportsday for a little bit after the D-lee conference online, The other 'big' news was prior to throw a session off the mound at wrigley today. Any 'rough' idea on timetables for the 3 injureteers???.

    22MPH out??!!! oh lord Glendon had better be on today. In other positive pre-game predictions i think Murton will have at least 2 hits today........

    I'm not going to ruin the day by talking Dusty!!. What i will say is that Lee comes across as a class individual who will be peforming in his prime for our team. I'd like to see Dopirak play some LF , although with the way Murton is setlling in i don't like his chances there either.

    Night games are usually a problem for me due to work but my spirits had been raised after games one and two. I had work all day but over here Barrets blast was about 4.20am!!. Anyway to cut a long story short i'm bouncing out the door at 7am for work huge smile cub jersey on and no one has a clue why i'm all pumped up.............no one except the unfortunate lad walking near my local shop in a Cardinal hat. 1. Very rare i see one over here 2. Even rarer that i get to shout SWEEP!!SWEEP!!SWEEP!! as we wait at the traffic lights!. Not had this fun in a long time. I know its going to be a long year but this was a nice weekend to wear cubbie blue........

    Quality start to Eyres cub career, by the end of the day i'm not sure we will be able to make any kind of judgement on these teams..........

    Anyone find JP a bit infectious. He gets on base, seems to cause havoc in the pitchers mind and reminds me of an' old school' type of player.......what do you guys think.
