    This statement says what I would say. Booing a bad play or lack of hustle is one thing, but being downright rude and nasty is another. Everyone deserves some respect. There was a day when I thought that Cubs fans were a little bit classier than others, but now-a-days I think some of our younger fans don't respect the game they way they should. Hopefully they will learn. All I got to say is if players think Chicago is bad? Try NY or Boston...

    Money shouldn't be the deciding factor in this. Money doesn't always equate to happiness. If he's truly happy here whats the harm in taking less? Lets face it by taking less you are still setup for life....

    Because over the last 30 years we've been conditioned to believe that we are all just lucky to have a job and that unions are evil monsters who steal money and protect the incompetent. Hail Reagan! It's the same way with the draft in football. The draft protects the teams not the players. It is the draft that rewards incompetent owners. All my friends were pissed at Eli Manning for not wanting to go to the Saints. While, I was of the opinion of, more powere to him. What are you talking about? The chargers drafting Manning.

    Sounds calm and reasonable to me. Sounds like someone thats pissed and bitter and is going to screw this team over the first change he gets and then start selling the "Cubs Suxxxx" t-shirts at white sox games. Yep. I felt that undercurrent also... :wink:
