God I can't wait for the FA season to start! I can't wait to see what kind of moves Theo and Co. will make. It's going to be a fun offseason. If we sign Pujols Tim is going to have to upgrade his bandwidth package.

i'm not aware of the relationship between poop frequency and happiness. as for the babies thing, i wrote this, which would tend to contradict your assertion: maybe i'm just the only one who thinks you seem to be perpetually cynical and angry. Nope. It's pretty obvious he's very unhappy with his life. My guess is he's not where he always imaged he would be at this point in time in his life, so he takes out his anger on us happy folks on NSBB. Or he just needs to get some strange. As for not wanting kids. Can't blame ya. Never wanted them myself. I found them annoying as [expletive]. Then I had two and that changed. Love them dearly, but I still find other peoples kids annoying as [expletive]. BTW - Tree (Trey) also is a miserable old coot. I don't even think some strange would even help.

Yeah, the search is the key to twitter. Is your company that lacked down that you can't use twitter? Mine is. No twitter, youtube or facebook here. That sucks. Don't you work in IT? Yep. But none of those are considered necessary for the job. Exceptions can be made based on a providing a business case documented need. No real way for me to make that case. That's fucked up. I never heard of IT not having full rights to everything.

I'd have a hard time thinking of many examples of people who were really hurt by the aggressive promotions, but maybe they are out there. Fleita is definitely in charge of that though as well as somewhat dictating a minor league philosophy. He probably shouldn't be running the whole player development program although they can probably find a better role for him. Why not just find no role for him (I know it's kinda late to bark up that tree since they signed him)? What does he do especially well? I'm not sure if anyone knows that.

Angels need a 1st baseman, Blue Jays might, Orioles do, Yankees and Red Sox could use a DH (though Pujols strongly prefers to play 1st I think). Nationals might be a factor as well. Obviously the likelihood of some of those teams being a factor varies, but those are the teams that might jump into it, off the top of my head. Not sure about Boston. Unless they can dump some salary. Aren't they pretty tapped out. Yankees are always a factor, but yeah, I didn't think of the Nats. It's going to be a fun off season with Pujols and Fielder. I still think Pujols is going to stay with the Cards.
