    It seems like our offense always sucks. Was that the 16K Mark Prior game? Seeing that, it really makes it that much more sickening that they didn't even make it to 90 wins. Wow. nothing like going 3-7 in your final 10 to screw the pooch 2-7 in last 9. :shock: I remember the helpless feeling when we kept losing to the Reds because we couldn't score a damn run. I felt absolutely sick. Our offense always sucks! Was that the Mark Prior 16K's game?

    They'd be 2 back in the loss column, and pretty well boned considering they have no off days and how strong their schedule is. I just don't see them losing to that completely destroyed Cardinals lineup though. :cry: 2 back? You mean 1 back.

    03 was awful. Prior was abused more that year than Z has ever been, surprisingly. But the Cubs were 4 outs away from the world series! Yeah, in hindsight, 2003 may have been the worst year in Cubs history. 5 outs, but who's counting. I knew that. Don't know why I typed 4. Hopefully the memory is fading.

    That's what I don't get. It seems like he's throwing FB down the middle of the plate and batters just miss it.
