    anyone know Leiters numbers coming into a game with runners on vs a clean inning? It’s probably confirmation bias, but I feel like he pitches much better coming into the former situation.

    To be fair, he played a decent amount there last year. Something like 30ish minor league starts. And with Shota on the mound, infield defense is less important. Still very unexpected. I guess worth a shot?

    Things were never *really* not turned around, but the results are finally starting to come. Thank god. I can’t argue with Twitter folks blasting Morel for having a .200 BA.

    The addition of the K Zone and incredible ability of a lot of hitters to correctly determine if a pitch is a ball or strike sure increases the annoyance of watching baseball.

    Yeah, struggling to prevent runs vs the worst offense in baseball by a mile is not great.
