3 runs is cool, but we had bases loaded no outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd no outs, and failed to score a run in both situations.

And my happiness is immediately deflated realizing Kyle Hendricks starts tomorrow.

I can’t feel excitement, because I know what’s coming in the 9th. We gotta score 4+ here.

He’s 4th in MLB in OAA (T-5th in DRS) among 1st basemen. He’s been tremendous, especially after the rough first few weeks adjusting.

Well guess this cements Hector as the closer again tonight if we somehow score a run to get there.

Was Miller really not available yesterday? Sunday- nothing Saturday- 2 IP, 31 pitches Friday- nothing Thursday- 0.1 IP, 3 pitches Wednesday- 1.1 IP, 16 pitches Tuesday- nothing Pretty sure he was available last night. If not, then it was a mistake to have him pitch the 9th on Saturday up 4 runs.
