    he's okay. he's just amazing against the cubs. .442/.525/.635 in 62 PA's against us :-( But he plays for the Pirates so there is about a 20% chance the next team he plays for is the Cubs. Really?

    Yeah and most of these fans seem to like every other Chicago team too, just not the Bears. What, Ditka sh@t on someone's meatloaf? I don't get it. I have a unique set of teams myself (Cubs, Bears, Magic, Lightning), but it's not as if I have an aberration for one sport where I choose to root for the #1 rival to the city of teams I root for otherwise. I don't have a genuine problem with it, it's just odd. Damn right. I have a friend who is somehow a Red Sox fan and a Knicks fan. I want him to be studied by science. There has to be some whacked out genetics involved.

    What are your Pirate expectations this year? Most improved team! :-) We're still going to lose 95 games. But, that's a 10 game improvement. Actually, I went to the Phillies/Pirates preseason game last night. If Charlie Morton pitches all year like he did last night, he's going to win the Cy Young. I'm not holding my breath, though.
