    nobody said soriano's potential, they said soriano's production in Texas, which is bloated by a stadium closer to coors than wrigley. I wouldn't want soriano or patterson on my team. neither would I, i just dispute the notion that rawaction said about Patterson putting up anything close to the numbers Soriano put up in any stadium.

    wow, then you guys must be pretty pissed to lose a guy with 40 homer/110 RBI potential for a mid-level prospect. I don't think that he's anything more that a 25/80 guy at best

    no he wouldn't Didn't say he would. Said he could. oh ok. then no he couldn't. Why not? why not? Because if anyone actually thought he could put up Soriano numbers anywhere, why would the cubs trade him? Texas isn't that much of a difference than Wrigley.

    the only thing i can think of is remember when Zambrano came up near the end in 2002 and sucked out of the pen? Maybe he'll follow Big Z's route...
