I hope to high heaven that the NFC can pull it out this year. I absolutely hate the 2 remaining AFC teams. except for the Eagles. Philly doesn't deserve a championship.

I wouldn't be suprised if Notre Dame bought out tubby, and made a move. I would They probably want Urban Meyer. Weis will likely last this year and then the Irish will make another run at Meyer. Why would Meyer want to go their? He is at a better program now, and Florida can probably match what anybody else is offering.

I was coming to post this. He is clearly a proven winner, and that's what we need. LaRussa once said he kept a guy around b/c he was good at stealing signs. I'm convinced that it was So. -

I can't ever remember wanting Cedeno at the plate. He hit a grand slam against the Mets and the next day he got a hit with the bases loaded. Up to that point he had some good AB's and it looked like he might have figured out how to hit a baseball. Then he remembered he was Ronny Cedeno. yeah, i remember when he was hot for a while. i still don't remember ever wanting him to be at the plate.

I agree with him to the extent that I don't trust prospects the Braves trade away. More times than not (and I believe a pretty wide margin) they don't amount to anything. Horacio Ramirez, Andy Marte, Damian Moss, Ruben Quevedo, Joey Nation are all examples purely off the top of my head. They've been excellent at identifying young talent and getting rid of the young non-talent at premium prices. Andy Pratt.
