    MLB has always been all over the map with suspensions. Robert Alomar only got 5 games for spitting into a face of an umpire. Rocker got a month off because of his comments in Sports Illustrated. He didn't break any rules and got a 25 game suspension. Now, Barrett got 10 games for a punch to the face - a little excessive, I think. ------ Still can't see how Alomar only got 5 games for spitting into a face of an umpire a long time ago.

    for this year's Cubs. If some of you remember last year, I used some of JonDavis' highlights of the season and used Sugar, We're Going Down Swinging by Fallout Boy. Looking for a tune this year to use. I'm thinking about Best of You - Foo Fighters for this season also possibly All my Life which is also by the Foo Fighters.     Story on Chicagosports that says Mike North misquoted Dempster a bunch of times. And Dempster is going to call Ozzie and sort it out. Ryan is pretty ticked at Mike North of the Score.

    Welllllll... It could be a way to get rid of players like Perez, Bynum, Pierre, Jones... Which many NSBBers want. Dollars to doughnuts says that Ryan Theriot would be sent back down in favor of JT Snow if he were acquired. What's the big deal if he sent down - he's just rotting on the bench up here anyways.
