    Not knowing if you're being sarcastic or not, but I totally agree. It's been 3 years - it's no longer Dusty's fault.

    It's been three years and it's not Baker's fault anymore. This is Mark's problem with staying healthy. Also, you can't blame Baker for trying to ride Wood and Prior to the Cubs first title in 90-something years. Any coach would have.

    Pitching isn't that big of a problem. You aren't going to win too many games when you only score one run a game.

    I understand, but every year, the same thing happens. This is year 3 of it and it's not Dusty's fault now. It leaves the Cubs with uncertainty every year. Who's going to start? How long are they going to be gone? The first year or two can be Dusty's fault, but come on, every year?

Let's clean house of all the D/L riders and put together a baseball team that takes the field. I might have to agree with that. Not including Lee, of course :wink: One unlucky collision should be alright. But this D/L madness is become ridiculous. This isn't the NFL. Come to think of it----I don't think the Bears have this many injuries. Something is fundamentally wrong with that. Just.......wrong. I know this would have been unpopular, but I really wish we would have traded both Wood and Prior this off-season. Hard to be an ace when you're never pitching.
