    Iowa hasn't recovered since, and I'm not sure if they ever will.

    College Football bowl games need to end before the NFL playoffs start. Having the Fiesta Bowl the day after the NFL playoffs was not a smart idea to generate interest.

    Getting to the playoffs isn't enough anymore. Going 0-6 in the last 2 playoff series, and doing nothing isn't going to make fans happy.

    With better linemen on both sides of the ball, I think you'd see the rest of the roster suddenly look a lot better. Yes. Not going to make Kyle good enough to be a solid NFL starting QB. Not going to make those craptastic receivers passable. But yeah, if you replace what? 5-7 lineman out of 22 starters? Sure, the team would be better. The Bears always drafting 11-20 are never usually in a position to draft a franchise QB and don't have the development or scouting skills to find a diamond in the rough. Jay Cutler says hi.

    I have no idea why you guys want to continue to draft defense when it's evident that Orton/WRs you have aren't the answer.

    Tough choice? Manny Ramirez in the outfield or Melky Cabrera. Thus, you slot the outfield as Ramirez/Matsui in LF/DH, put Damon in CF, Nady in RF. Who are you going to take?

    Does this remind anyone of how the Twins tried to trade Santana before settling on a so-so package? IIRC, they tried raping the Yankees/Red Sox for Santana, and then, everything died for awhile.

    Seeing Ohio State get blown out in another BCS Bowl would make me a saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad panda. Seriously, has anyone learned their lesson with them yet? The very same could be said for Oklahoma, and how well they've played in BCS bowls lately. Past 4 and Stoops is 0-4...

    i'm basing my opinion on watching Ball State this year and knowing that they aren't out-recruiting Notre Dame, Purdue, or even Indiana in-state. Again, I think you're underrating Ball State, and overrating the Big 10 this year. I think Ball State could give everyone but Penn State/Ohio State a game this year. and I don't. Ball State's best players would be Big Ten teams medium level players. 7 or 8 of the Big Ten teams would win the MAC this year (if not more) Win the MAC or go undefeated in the MAC like Ball State is going to do? well if they're going to win the mac this year, that means they'd go undefeated Winning is one thing. Going undefeated in the Mac is another.

    He seems to have moved past those issues. Take his numbers on a bad KC team in the AL (with DH) and translate those into a good team in the NL (without DH) and you might be talking about a great young pitcher. Rich Hill crumbled under the pressure here. What's to say a guy with social anxiety disorder won't either?
