    I admire the restraint. I'm sure most of us (sans Mojo) have felt like lurkers at times. But going 18 years without a post -- that's just impressive. And then he ruined it immediately by posting a second time without waiting another 18 years.

    78ish. But unlike some of our previous teams, I can see a path to a playoff spot with this squad. Of course, 99% of those paths run through Bellinger returning to near-MVP form thanks to the new shift rules and a change of scenery. And even then, we're relying on some breakouts of young guys and veteran bouncebacks. So is it a likely path? No. But I'm holding at least a little hope as we approach opening day.

    The fact that Kyle is within walking distance of Angel Stadium explains the cloud of doom over that stadium the last few years...

    Yeah, the keyword thing seems tough to implement outside places like twitter where each post is somewhat-standalone. I could see it working solely off thread titles, though. For instance, put Trump on the blocklist, and those threads with his name in the title are auto-ignored or something. Could be useful as we move away from mega-threads. Thanks for thinking on it.

    Are there any robust ignore settings on this board? I've got a [expletive] of climate change anxiety, and would love to ignore the weather thread. Or maybe set up a list of keywords so that things don't show up in my feed. Anything like that? All I've been able to find so far is ignoring specific posters.

    While they're all a bit too rosy for me, I don't hate these predictions. I just wanted to be the first to use the button to dislike one of your posts.

    I'd be much obliged. Right now, I've got the site zoomed in 120% to make the font somewhat legible, which of course is throwing off the way everything else is presented. That said, I want to express that I fully appreciate you're working hard to make sure the methodology is working appropriately for paying your writers. That is a way better reason than anything I was anticipating. That said, if you get the time to make a second theme with the only difference being Times New Roman font, I'd name my next kid after you.

    Please forgive my ignorance, but was the availability of the theme choice causing some other issue? If not, I think keeping it enabled as an option while you work out some of the kinks (such as the broken icons on the other theme), might be well-received.

    I hope you enjoyed it while you could. It appears that theme is now gone again... I'm gonna need a theme with a readable typeface for my old eyes at some point soon. This jacked-up sans serif nonsense is abusive.

    Also nice, we can now just hit ctrl+b or ctrl+i or whatever to input the bold and italic stuff. No more awkward code.

    I don't know what to think of star wars or marvel stuff if I can't see Mojo and Derwood argue about it. It is inhumanely cruel of our new overlords to hide the forums' expert opinions from the hoi polloi.

    There's currently two themes to choose from. You can find them at the very bottom of the page. The font for the Northside Baseball (default) theme nearly gave me eye cancer. But the other default theme is a bit better. And doesn't have all the missing icon issues.

    I just noticed that Fred's account is messed up, with all the extra numbers.     I would much appreciate being added to the old timey member group as well. It's either that or mutiny. Maybe both, but one would stave off the other for a bit.

    That's been going on a lot longer than a month. That said, I still prefer it to all the ads I would get for commemorative Trump coins.

    This is kinda surprising. Only because I had honestly half-expected Vince McMahon and Donald Trump to launch their own douchebag baseball league and make Bauer the face of the league.

    I dont have an issue with the players stealing signs during play, or coaches/managers clueing in players in the dugout or via a 1st or 3rd base coach, but when you've got organizational dudes using a camera in the outfield, sending in signals to some dude who's banging on a tub I feel like you crossed a line. Plus horsefeathers Houston Yeah. Let the players and coaches try to figure out signs. I have no problem with that whatsoever. But once people start using specialized equipment (cameras, binoculars, trash cans) and various other employees, it has gone too far.

    CT is still 12, and I refuse to engage with anybody who tells me otherwise. CT is a practicing lawyer now, I think. That's not necessarily dispositive. My wife is a practicing lawyer and she never graduated high school. So I don't see why a 12 year old couldn't practice the law, barring some sort of state statute which I refuse to look up.

    When this board started, CT was like 12. CT is still 12, and I refuse to engage with anybody who tells me otherwise.

    Yeah, I never much understood it either. But honestly, I've found the horsefeathers filter charming. So I'm happy enough to keep it up that way. But I couldn't resist the urge to show off my 1337 h4x0r skills one last time before the board upgrade to something presumably less easily exploitable.
