    Wilkerson would be a decent start for the Cubs revamping the outfield. Look at it this way He will outproduce either Burnitz or Patterson of 2005 in terms of obp, and possibly ops as well. He is young and can improve as well. I would love a Murton Wilkerson Some other banger Outfield for '06. If Pie is ready Wilkerson could be trade bait or moved to Right if he produces well. He plays first base as well, so he can give DLee a breather once in a while which we all know Dusty likes to have. My biggest concern is whether Dusty will actually play Cedeno or not, having Neifi and Walker back almost locks in the fact that Ronny won't see much playtime unless Walker gets traded.

    oh i didnt know that. Still Perez and Macias, 2 automatic outs that will end up starting. What do you guys think will happen with the pen Would this team look better with Nomar, Pie, Murton in the OF Aram, Cedeno, Walker, Lee Barrett in the IF? and a ton of money spent on pitching / pen?

    So Burnitz declined option, Walker and Williamson picked up. What about Hollandsworth, Macias, Perez??? They aren't FA's yet! I prey they don't come back next year to give another set of excuses for Dusty to Part time play Murton and Cedeno. Please NO!!!

    Well since the option for Burnitz was declined im thinking Murton is a given in the Of and isnt holly gone too? OF could be Nomar Murton Pie or something from a trade so i wouldnt shun it especially if cedeno is everyday at SS and murton in OF

    Heading into the deadline can we pull off a 15-3 or 14-4 run? I think if we can do something like this, we can be in the thick of things. Pit x 4 (4-0) Cin x 4 (3-1 or 4-0) Stl x 3 (2-1) SF x 3 (2-1) Ari x 4 (3-1) Wouldn't it be sweet to sit at 58-47 or 57-48 at the deadline? I hope the Cubbies can pull it off.

    Thanks for your time. I hope Corey gets back on track and stays in the cubs org. How exciting would it be for you to bat leadoff with Corey in the 2 hole in the Majors? Have you set any personal goals as to when you would like to play for the big club?

    Scott Moore is tearing it up in the minors. Novoa will be good with more experience. He has the stuff needs more control.

    Hate to be the party pooper, but we all know Murton and Cedeno will be riding the pine tomorrow if they play. BTW Murton looks good. Patient.. Lets see how he can adjust after they scout him out.

    Yeah he is prolly really 33-34. I would gamble with Z like others said though. Z, Patterson for Abreu and Lofton would be great What about Z, Patterson, Mitre, Wellemeyer for Abreu Lofton Wagner :D

    This teams name is Dustys Boys. direct reflection of his managing. Lee Aram have been awesome. he relies on instinct more than stats. his downfall if he relied on statrs from may, wqe would be close to the4 cards with walker hairston 2-1... no dusty relies on hyis gut too much.,.l....,.,!!!
