On the XM MLB channel, they seemed to have extended comments from Soriano (not a sound clip, but something they were reading from) that suggested that Soriano was highly motivated to play in the All-Star game because Yankee Stadium was where he started his career and he knows there are many NY fans who appreciate the way he plays the game. The MLB XM guys (Mark Patrick & Buck Martinez) remarked that the Cubs might not be thrilled to have Sori rush back into action to play in the All-Star game when there's a pennant to win. I haven't seen any comments besides the ESPN link posted above, just passing along the discussion.
