People don't think Messi is great? In relation to the overrated Maradona, Argentines dont like Messi and there's a trendy faction of soccer fans that think Ronaldo is better. When healthy, Messi is. So, yeah, people think he's great. Just not great enough.
I would love Argentina to win. People need to recognize Messi's greatness and dumb people apparently need you to lift a World Cup trophy to recognize greatness. Also, Maradona can then fade into history in the Argentine consciousness.
It's not a game, it's a fixture. We're not fans, we're supporters. He's not a head coach, he's a manager or "gaffer." It's not a truck, it's a lift. It's not a vagina, it's a butt.

It's clear that while this dual/Tri destroyer lineup might not get our most talented 11 on the field, it gives our best player the most cover, freedom to do his thing and space which is probably the best plan. Bradley looks great doing whatever he wants. VINTAGE JOZY ALKMAAR JOZY [expletive] YES
Throwback to Klinsy's early formations today. Howard Fab, Cam, Besler, Beas Jones, Beckerman, Dempsey, Bradley, Bedoya Jozy Could be interesting. You know who would look great on the left in essentially, the Bob Bradley 4-2-3-1, right?
I'd like to see Deuce sit it out tomorrow. See ArJo for 90 and keep him healthy. If we get the opportunity to counter vs Portugal as much as Mexico has, Landon will score at least two. Wait. Nm.
The absolute worst thing about Jurgen Klinsmann is how he says something to pump up players like, "Jermaine Jones played a brilliant first half against Turkey." And then acts like people who disagree aren't sophisticated enough soccer observers to have a valid opinion, when in reality I doubt Jurgen even believes it. Motivational techniques don't have to be condescending to fans or disingenuous.
