  1. Awesome. What a waste of talent.
  2. There it is. That doesn't mean the Cardinals current lineup isn't better than the Cubs current lineup. Encarnacion has quietely stopped being entirely useless, Eck and Rolen have been great, Edmonds is producing closer to capabilities, Molina's ops is getting closer to his prOPS, and Luna has blossomed into a legitimate major leaguer. We've also been getting good pitching lately.
  3. Beat me to it. Needless to say, I am happy.
  4. I personally don't think the manager should have to order it, but I think the reasoning here is that it was the 4th inning, the Sox pen sucks, and they needed Javier to eat some innings.
  5. I like Conor Jackson. Possibly Adam Wainright, though I won't be sold on him as a starter until I see him in the rotation for an extended period of time.
  6. ???!!! That's insane.
  7. OK. Your views are vera similar to another person.
  8. but everyone knows those 3 are awesome. plus dunn's personality is a+ He shaved his soul patch. I don't know if thats good or bad. BTW, Bay sucks. I hate him and I hate his stupid face. Do I know you?
  9. Oh my god! You mean to tell me Ponson's era finally caught up to his horrible peripherals (and waist line)?! I TELL YOU WHAT I DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING!
  10. Yeah and he (Anderson) can actually catch so he has that going for him.
  11. Those guys are pretty much universally valued. How much you value Dunn is indicative of what side you fall on in the SABR vs. traditional stats argument. You're not going to find many people who think Hafner, Bay, or Cabrera are anything short of very good, yet there are no shortage of Dunn haters.
  12. I'm at 26. 19th overall and finally on the first page of leaders.
  13. Mike Shannon hasn't drank for years in the booth. Didn't say anything about in the booth did I? Just two guys with different interests.
  14. Haren and Barton, and I don't think Barton is that good.
  15. Good luck finding me at the Marriott in Richmond, Virginia from June 8th - 12th on one of the non-smoking floors.
  16. I really don't think Gagne will anything but a shell of his old self, and Capuano could turn it around and be a steal.
  17. I'd deal Shelton and hope Sexson turns it around.
  18. What do you expect? It's way nearer St. Louis than Chicago.
  19. I think the issues between Mike and Hagin was Hagin is a straightlaced family man who had no time for Mike's drinking, gambling, and more drinking.
  20. Hacker is an excellent beer. Problem is, they're wheat based which I hear makes you naturally tired after drinking - true for me at least. I really like Spaten Premium Lager if I can find it. That's why I use the Hacker to wash down the amphetamines. Strategic substance abuse = smart.
  21. Da great and powerful Dunn gives and takes away. This night he has chosen to take away, but through it I have become a stronger, wiser, and better person for having tasted the sting of his wrath. 2 run blast in the 7th.
  22. Busey? Indiana. Gary Busey is more worthwhile than Gary, Indiana. Or Indiana period for that matter.
