  1. Bucher does seem to sensationalize rumor into stories. That said, we are the most likely team to end up with nothing and have been ever since Amare went to NY.

  3. No. No. Hell no.
  4. Apparently part of the buyout was an agreement not to poach any Fulham players. Thank God. I can't like Liverpool. Deuce or no.
  5. If by problem, you mean they gave them away to the first 10,000 fans, then yes. read better! :D ahahaha...I'm an ass. Carry on, Butters.
  6. If by problem, you mean they gave them away to the first 10,000 fans, then yes.
  7. I think they'll back up a truck of cash for Marcelo Bielsa which is probably an awesome move for them. If he got them playing like Chile, they could be a bitch.

  9. Setting up as Bosh to Miami, LeBron to Cleveland and Stoudemire, Boozer and Joe Johnson being the best available.
  10. They should have to make their pk's.
  11. Only Mexico. http://deadspin.com/5575458/

  13. For anyone who's worried about 2014 and where our squad stands, just read this: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=376391&root=americansabroad&cc=5901 Gives you some perspective. Were in way better shape than we were when Bradley came in.
  14. I stupidly went to Big Soccer a few hours after the loss. That was a mistake. I don't think anyone realistically expected Jozy to start and be our first choice forward. He was expected to be a bench candidate in 2007 after the U-20 World Cup where he outplayed Pato and other big money guys. Young candidates: Jac Mac from Philly will be 21 so who knows where he'll be, but he's one of the U-20 first choice strikers. Scored 2 in 4 in last years U-17's. http://www.mlsnet.com/player/jack-mcinerney Tristan Bowen will be 23. He' 19 and starting for the Galaxy in Buddle's absense. http://www.mlsnet.com/player/tristan-bowen Yura Movsisyan is 22 right now and just scored 7 in 13 for Randers. Obviously Davies. Sebastian Lletget at West Ham looks like a prospect. Non-strikers: DC's keeper, Bill Hamid is only 19 and is looking like the next Tim Howard. Andy Najar is a mid for DC. 17 and looking like a real prospect. Really we look pretty good in the 16-19 age group right now. Shockingly we appear to have some serious prospects on the back line with Agassamounde (however you spell that nonsense) at Braga, Gonzalez, Opara, Ream, Lichaj. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_U-20_men's_national_soccer_team#Current_roster
  15. LeBron isn't going to the Heat. Not a chance.
  16. Qualifying would go global before we went to CONMEBOL.
  17. Yeah the cycle usually goes World Cup Gold Cup/sometimes Copa America $High Profile Friendlies$/Qualifying Qualifying/Confed's Cup hopefully/Qualifying World Cup With the various friendlies always sprinkled in between the major stuff every few months.
  18. I'm pretty sure he's already a citizen. We just have to sell him on the program. I could easily be wrong about his citizenship status though.
  19. Dude, I've driven through New Mexico many times. Taos and Santa Fe are beautiful, but they aren't forming any formidable sports teams any time soon. That place is 99% waste land. I know population doesn't matter, but it's very impressive.
  20. Yeah there's much more parity. Plus the fact that you can actually afford a ticket is nice.
  21. When Sebastian LeToux and Pat Noonan are tearing a game up, you may as well be watching a different sport. The park does look sweet though. I like the bridge over head. Danny Mwanga looks like someone possibly worth naturalizing.
  22. Again Ghana has 24 million we have 305 million, Mr. Optimistic What does that have to do with anything? What I'm getting frustrated with is the lack of parity in this [expletive] sport. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the game, but when it's China v India EVERY TIME in EVERY FINAL winning EVERY TROPHY it just gets a little old, you know?
  23. I think Bradley is the odds-on favorite to coach in '14, but Klinnsy is second. Some of the latest Landon rumors. Everton wants him: http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/859090/TOFFEES-WANT-TO-BRING-DONOVAN-BACK.html He's also a main target of the world's biggest spenders: http://g.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/world-cup/news/sources-worlds-richest-club-eyeing-donovan--fbintl_ro-donovan062710.html
  24. Impossible to tell. There are plenty of great players at that age like Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack etc that make up for physical deterioration with experience and mental mastery. Because of that I think Clint will still be effective enough to be a key player near what he is now. Landon I'm not as sure because of his size. By then Stuart Holden will be in his prime and serving in killer crosses from the right wing and taking all the dead balls. Who knows what will happen in four years.
  25. So Landon had a pretty good time in England. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/soccer/world-cup-2010/06/26/donovan.tabloid/index.html f
