There's nothing inaccurate rambling about flopping. And it's kind of ridiculous to expect everybody to appreciate what other people like about a different entertainment form, which is all this stuff is. NASCAR is dumb. I don't care that other people find entertainment in it. It does nothing for me. Soccer I can appreciate, even if I hated playing as a kid (but loved indoor soccer). Let's step back a little from the "only fuddy duddy white people don't like soccer" and just enjoy the moment a bit. I think you're missing my point and/or I'm not expressing it good enough. I hate NASCAR too, but if a fan were to tell me they like it because the drivers are just like them, they can get drunk, there's tons of sluts around, the cars are fast, the sound is loud and the wrecks are numerous and dangerous, I'd say yeah, if that's what you're after, it's probably a good "sport" for them. Even though all that stuff sounds super great to me, I can't get over the whole redneck culture. So I watch the occasional F1 and IRL race instead. When people say they don't like soccer because of flopping, but at the same time can't concede the positive points like I just did for NASCAR, I don't like it. Yes flopping is part of the game, yes I concede it's not likable, but that obviously isn't all there is to the game. I don't care if on balance the negatives don't outweigh the positives for somebody, but don't act like the positives don't exist and I'm an effeminate socialist (and possibly gay) for liking soccer.
