Just saw a pic of Beckham and Keane hanging with Jeremy Piven after the win. Soccer has officially jumped the shark. Glad Bex is gone so the dumb LA factor can go away too.

3-1 LA. Omar Gonzalez MVP. Full ACL tear in January, returns in July, Galaxy goes from one of the worst teams in the league to Champs again. Incredible turn down largely to Omar. Great young player.

He's been good. Drawing fouls, combining well, linking the wings and midfield. Pretty active. This is clearly Tottenham's best lineup if you replace Sandro w/Parker.

Tottenham look much stronger than Liverpool so far. Clint already played a clever give and go to Lennon who's first touch (sprinting too fast to handle it) let him down on a goal opp. Defoe also took an easier rebound off of Dempsey's boot because he's a super dumb player. Bale is killing Liverpool on the left and crosses to Lennon for a goal 1-0.

Tim Chandler vs Fab Johson today. Deuce starting vs Liverpool. Dembele is back so hope for more build up through the middle. Glad my boss is gone.

Clint looked good as he always does when he has his share of the ball. Spurs still can't build up play from the midfield and can't score when they aren't on the fast break.

Rafa hired ON INTERIM BASIS. Congrats on still being the most powerful guy in the locker room, JT. I love this whole "let coaches fail upward" thing that the Lakers and Chelsea have going on.

Until Roman has the guts/humility to hire a manager with the gravitas and absolute authority to usher out Terry, Lampard and Cole and start rebuilding in earnest without veterans in the locker room who think they run the team, they'll be hiring and firing every two years like clockwork. Problem is, he's fired all of the managers that have that kind of gravitas. I suppose he could re-hire Mourinho, but not until the summer. Pep isn't going to touch that job with a 10 ft pole.

The Galaxy are losing Beckham, probably Donovan & Keane as well as Gonzalez if a European team out there is smart. Going to be a crazy offseason for rumors. lampard & KaKa will feature prominently. Feilhaber too.
