  2. No, but he was responsible for the Hundley trade. :D Touche...Or you could spell it with a D if you want. ;)
  3. Didn't they say on the radio that Soto is only two HR behind the all time leader for home runs by a catcher before the all-star break? That leader...Pudge Rodriguez...I think.
  4. Was Hendry responsible for the Huntley trade to the Dodgers? I remember the architect of that deal being heralded as the second coming.
  5. Its been official for liek 5 minutes or so. ssssh new pants aren't on yet No one tell Truffle's rectum about the trade.
  6. Harden and Gaudin to Cubs Gallagher, Murton, Donaldson, Patterson to Oakland Confirmed on WGN as well.
  7. What is this, a police shooting? Why do players need to be told before Dave Kaplan reports it? I just report what I'm hearing. He said Murton was probably part of the deal too.
  8. According to Dave Kaplan: Rich Harden to cubs Gallagher will be part of the deal but other are not yet confirmed (the players are being told right now)
  9. Inhale....exhale...inhale...exhale (continue on your own).
  10. What I heard from Dave Kaplan on WGN radio was that there was a substantial trade that was about to be announced. Dave said (at the 5:07 sports report) that he could not say who because the players had not been notified yet but that as soon as he could, he would report what he knows. I heard no indication from him what players or even positions.
  11. That is all he can say right now. Will break in to report it as soon as he can. Sorry. I know this is lame but it is what I heard. EDIT:Original thread was started before players were known.
  12. If that's the case then he can't handle the pressure...the playoffs will not be a good place for him. I'm hoping he's just in a dead arm phase or missing his spots or something simple. How do you go from dominating everyone to getting shalacked like your latroy hawkins. My Latroy Hawkins never got shalacked. The Cubs one did, but not mine.
  13. Funny that you bring this up. My 7yr old daughter mentioned that the plate and the mound looked much closer together.
  14. Listening to the radio it sounded like JE tweaked his ankle crossing the 1st base bag. The trainer came out but Edmonds stayed in the game.
  15. Yeah, and teach her how to use a sugar daddy at the same time! It's win-win!
  16. Close is relative I suppose. Since '06 Atkins has been a little low on slugging, but in '06 he bested Ramirez in pretty much every relevant offensive category. This year isn't looking much better for him, but he's shown the ability to put up those kind of numbers. In '07 he bettered him in RBI and Runs, about the only category he was low in was slugging. Indeed, by definition in fact.
