  1. That's a terrible argument, the bulls are a defensive team so they aren't going to be one of the best offenses in the league when they play the way they do. Put Rose on the Warriors or Knicks and he might put up 5 more points a game. John Hollinger is the Westboro Baptist Church of basketball analysts.
  2. Hmmm...their SBnation blog doesn't seem to be too rough. Heh, they had a bullet point in the recap ripping the Bulls and how easy they are to defend and would struggle to get out of the first round if they depended on Rose so much, but it appears the author deleted it. Wait why do Hornet's Fans hate Rose and the Bulls? PG envy. I'm not sure but did most people consider Paul the best PG going into this year even after his injury plagued season? While it seems Rose is now the best PG in the game, I'd still put Deron Williams at number 2. I remember before the year started there was a discussion about Rose and what people's expectations were of him. Most of us thought he was top 3-5 and had a year or 2 before he would be the best, he sure showed all of us wrong.

  4. This is the exact same way I feel. He really seems like such a great guy off the court but he is a such a whiny little B- on the court and makes me lose respect for him. He is still pretty young so maybe he will grow up in a few more years but if he isn't careful he will turn into KG. Also I was thinking about how good a team would be if he was just a complimentary player. He has always been the focus of the Magic and never really had any help from another all-star, imagine replacing Bosh with Dwight Howard. Now that would be a great team.
  5. Geez, that has to suck. I'm pretty sure 5 random NSBB'ers could at least hang with the Cavs. Right, I am sure no one on here could get off a shot against any NBA player that was really attempting to play defense. And yes I know you were kidding, but that's so ridiculous. Haha, seriously. I agree but most of us are at least as good as Jamario Moon If you couldn't at least get a shot up without being blocked then you are very bad at basketball. I'm not saying it would be a great shot but it wouldn't be hard getting one up at least. Now if you said I doubt any of us would be able to make a shot then I would agree, except for the few hail marys that would be thrown up.
  6. Wow that is a pretty bad game for KG, I'm not really sure how you can have 10 turnovers and not be the point guard.
  7. I guess it shows you exactly how good LBJ was to that team. He probably has a bigger impact when surrounded by role players, but he still looks damn good with 2 other all-stars on his team. On a side note, anyone know if Boozer is going to play tonight?
  8. That ticket is going for approximately 450 on stubhub. You just made a cool 275!
  9. anyone have any luck with tickets? I tried buying just 1 on ticketmaster right when it came up and I still couldn't get one. The number was constantly busy and wasn't able to have any luck on the phone either.
  10. Thanks! I just wish I could have won in the league that was for money, although I did pick up a decent 150 for second place. Overall, with the Bears picking up a Bye I'd say it made it a good week. I sure didn't expect the Vikings to beat the Eagles.
  11. Least you still have Michael Vick! If he puts up another 66 point game you could be in it again! I'm in the Championship game in all 3 of my leagues but I already lost the other 2 it seems.
  12. Per Rotoworld: It seems the magic have completed a deal for gilbert arenas. While that may sound bad for us at first it appears they have given up pieces that seem to be more valuable than Arenas. I guess they could be hoping for a change of scenery but he has a huge contract and is a bit of a wild card.
  13. Per Rotoworld ala Charlotte Observer: Hmm Stephen Jackson I think may be an even better fit than Mayo and Smith. He hasn't seemed to have any issues the last few years and he is a guy who can score pretty easily. Gerald Wallace would be nice if we could get rid of Deng and put him at SF but I don't see that happening.
  14. I hope Webb starts, he has Wr eligibility and it would be pretty awesome to have 2 qb's play with one in the flex spot.
  15. ESPN has posted in their rumors section that the Bulls and Nuggets are discussing the Bulls trading Bogans and Brewer for J.R. Smith. I'd be all for getting rid of Bogans, and although I do like Brewer it would be a great trade for the Bulls.
  16. Don't forget Rose is knocking down the 3 now!
  17. I think the point people are trying to make is that Chicago has looked at least as, if not more, impressive against all other teams except for Orlando. You can not say Orlando is a better team than Chicago just because they seem to play Chicago very well so far. I do not want to face Orlando in the playoffs, more than any other team, but I do not think they are a better team than Boston or Miami, they just do well against Chicago.
  18. Looks like the bad Pacer's showed up so far.
  19. The pacers will be playing without Danny Granger. I can't say I know a ton about the Pacer's but I have to imagine we should kill them without Granger in the game.
  20. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the Bulls have also had far and away the hardest Strength of Schedule of any team. They currently have .573 with the hornets the next closest at .561. It is also worth noting that the Lakers have the 2nd easiest schedule with .415 and the Knicks with .403. This makes you really wonder how good the Lakers are, with a schedule that easy you would expect them to only have lost a few games. Of course everyone knows the Bulls have one of the easiest schedules for the next month and a half or so. I really expect them to win 80% or more of the upcoming games unless they start playing down to the competition. At their current record after going through their hardest stretch, it would be hard to not see them winning 50+ games. 55 might even be a better guess at this point but we will have a better idea in a few months, it is still early to guess and injury's can happen to any team.
  21. If the Yankees miss out on Cliff Lee as well, who is left out there that can make an impact? Red Sox adding 2 all stars (Gonzo and Crawford), if their pitching gets their act together they may be the favorites in the East again.
  22. Maybe Vatican City will put in a Bid.
  23. I was up 11 facing only sproles tonight feeling like I had a chance and then I woke up this morning only up 5 having expectations to be down by halftime. I knew when I saw Baltimore vs Carolina I was gonna be screwed and that is exactly what happened.
  24. There is really nothing negative about this team when you consider that we are competing with or beating some of the West's best teams without one of our best players, Boozer. People want to say that we can't compete with some of the teams in the East, but why not? This team is very good as is, and is only going to get better with Boozer. With all that said I do not expect the Lakers game to be very close.
  25. That should do it!! Great win by the Bulls! Our rebounding really came through, we destroyed them on the glass.
