    Jesus Christ, South Carolina was prepared for this game, and Spurrier is pulling out everything he has. AU will be lucky to end this one with a W.

    Yeah, I don't like Auburn -19...more like -10. South Carolina is having a strange season, and I'm not sure which team is going to show up tonight. I'm interested to see whether this is the game true freshman Roc Thomas starts getting more carries. He's going to be the next great RB at Auburn.

    The early line is Auburn -3. I'm not sure anyone can stop Dak Prescott this year, but I still like Auburn in this one.

    Pretty happy with that game..Auburn should get a percentage of the first place votes this week.

    Auburn looked like [expletive], had several key injuries on defense and still beat La Tech by a score very similar to the Oklahoma - La Tech game, so the [expletive] knows..,

    If all goes as planned, we should see a lot of qb Jeremy Johnson and rb Roc Thomas today in the Auburn-Louisiana Tech game. They will be the face of the Auburn offense next season, and I'm hoping Roc plays his way into the regular rotation by the end of this season.

    I'll take any non-conference road win against a ranked team, but someone finally stopped Auburn's zone read, and they are going to have a tough time running the gauntlet this year with upcoming games against LSU, Mississippi state, ole miss, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama.

    Arkansas gashed AU on the same trap play over and over in the first half. They were capitalizing on over aggressiveness of AU's DT and LB allowing two players to take themselves out of the play unblocked. I haven't rewatched the game yet and was slightly intoxicated for the live version, but AU made some adjustments at half and only allowed 2 rushing yards in the second half.

    Auburn's defense played horribly in the first half but only allowed 60 yards in the second half. Other than that, I was pleased with the game. Jeremy Johnson is an outstanding backup qb, the running game looked a lot better the second half when Nick Marshall was a threat to keep it on the zone read. Duke Williams is going to be one and done at receiver, Melvin Ray made a terrific one handed grab. Thank god Robinson Therezie was cleared to play Friday night as he is Auburn's best at the star position (safety/lb hybrid). The 595 yards against Arkansas was the 6th most against an SEC opponent in school history, btw.

    Edwards throwing a lot of pitches in the first inning and three runs so far...not a good day for smokies' pitchers .

    Second game now...Almora grounds sharply into double play. Addy grounds to second on 1-1 pitch.

    Almora with a sharp grounder to ss. Addy was subbed out last inning presumably so he gets some rest before the second game of the doubleheader.

    Who moves in with a chick at 18-19? Lady now proceeds to show me pictures of her daughter. Definitely smoking. Almora lines out to rf on 2-2 pitch. addy walks on 4 pitches.

    Lady behind me has a daughter who dated 'Addy' for three years and lived with him, but they broke up recently. Posting this so those with daughters can plan accordingly.

    Almora lined the first pitch to left for a single. Russell with a single to left on a 1-1 count.

    Black just gave up a hr and another rope that hit the warning track in the first inning. Addison Russell has a very solid build. I was walking in to the stadium during his first ab but he lined out to left center.

    Seems like a double header should start earlier than 5est. Don't they usually have time between games? Wierd. It was also weird to postpone yesterday's game after a brief rain in the early afternoon with sun shining and birds chirping two hours before the scheduled first pitch.

    You probably shouldn't since it's postponed :wink: Dammit. I Checked before I left work, and it was still on. It only rained for like 30 minutes earlier. Guess I'll have to go to the double header tomorrow.
