    well obviously its a high risk type thing, but i think that not doing this deal, with as under market as it was (even though it was 18 mil a year), would be rather stupid. I'd be really pissed to see him just walk away. Real glad he's locked up.

    The Cubs are not going to win a WS until Pie becomes a valuable everyday player. That will happen with playing time in the major leagues. So I would contend the Cubs cannot afford to not let him play. i'm all for pie getting his PT, but thats a bit far fetched to say that we can't win WITHOUT him.

We don't know Did Barry use anything other than "the Clear" or "the Cream" for any legitamite period of time? We don't know. So just stop accusing Bonds of everything that you can't prove damnit. lololol first of all, barry bonds, big fat cheater or not, is NOT the greatest player in the history of baseball. no way. 2nd of all, you have to be a naive to think that Bonds did not use some kind of performance enhancement, whether that led to his significant increase in power i can't tell you, but I'd be willing to bet it did. And now we've learned of this armor that he wore that is illegal, but since he got it grandfathered in, he can use it. How much of his success can be attributed to that?
