    Or not, we just booked at the Custom Hotel, just a few miles from LAX. There's a shuttle between there and LAX, this way we only need a car on the day of the game, but we're gonna have to leave at like 4am to get there. Oh well.

    Flying in to LAX on the 30th, leaving the 3rd. Looks like we might be staying at the Ramada in Burbank and renting a van.

    All I can say is good luck finding anything close to Pasadena. What would you recommend then? We already accept that we'll likely have to rent 2 cars.

    The line to get student tickets here in Champaign was nuts all day. We got 4 yesterday and should have another 4 from a friend's dad. 8 of us plan on making the trip. If only we could find some flights and a place to stay...any advice? Looking into coming on the 30th and leaving the 3rd.

    Stupid circus trip...I really wanted to go to a Hawks game while I was home this week. Looks like I'll have to wait til December to catch the young studs in action. It sucks for my ego knowing I am cheering for kids younger than me however. That's a tough pill to swallow.

    We rushed Green Street right away and then we brought 2 bottles of Champagne into Firehaus, probably wasn't the best idea. Then I gave my buddy a mohawk in front of DI reporters and a couple TV cameras. I still haven't seen anything anywehere unfortunately. What an awesome day.

    I don't understand the fascination with Fukudome. Most of his numbers are worse than Iwamura's, and Iwamura's production out of a right fielder is poor. Add in to that due to this build-up he seems in line to get a rather risky and pricey contract, I have to agree with Nancy Reagan, just say no. Aside from the fact that he is a good ballplayer...re-read his name. His jersey would be a top seller.

    I love this schedule. I don't start classes til noon and I'm not done til 6, so it caters to my schedule perfectly. Plus the game illini/wisky game will be over by game time Saturday

    sorry to clutter the game thread...but this is a very important favor to ask (I also posted it in the fantasy forum, but I doubt anyone's gonna look at it) So I've got $800 on the line tomorrow. I'm currently up 5-4 in my h2h league, but am trailing in ERA which is the tiebreaker. We are both tied in SB, Wins, and Ks, and I am down .01 in WHIP. I have one pick up left so I need someone who can get me some Ks and hopefully a win. Here are my options: Bailey vs the Cubs Contreras vs. Detroit Murray vs. Seattle Paulino vs. Atlanta Carlyle vs. Houston Bullington vs. St. Louis Laffey vs. KC Hochevar vs. Cleveland Bergman vs. Philly Davis vs. Colorado Jimenez vs. Arizona Please help me...this is huge
