    Ugh, i saw real great quote about Noc the other day but I can't find it. The main point of it was that he has a picture of him missing a game winning three pointer from the world championships this summer against Greece as the screen saver on his computer, and he's using it for motivation. And the Bulls ordered him to stop playing basketball over the summer (besied the championships) because he was playing too much.

    Would offering to pick up all of Arod's salary (that NY owes) help our cause? Would anyother team being willing to do that?

    I just wish the Marlins would get a home and lock up Willis and Cabrera so they can be taken out of every trade scenario.

    That's why if Arod moves, I think the Marlins are going to need to be involved. They are going to need a 3B, replacing Arod with Cabrera is about the best they can do.

    I'm not saying it was, Joe was going to get roasted if he kept him in the middle of the lineup. I would have done the same thing. Realistically with the hitters that they have is there much of a difference batting 4th or batting 8th?

    So if it took Nolasco, Mitre, and Pinto for one year of Pierre, its going to cost the Angels, Dbacks, and Dodgers farm systems to get Cabrera. Couldn't you let me be delusional for just a little while?

    p.s. I'd love to have Arod on the Cubs (and Know he's a great player), I just think its ridiculous to fault Joe Torre for batting Arod 8th.

    It's october and he was 1-11 with 0BB before game 4, 1-14 after. Simple fact of the matter is Arod bats in the middle of the order Joe Torre is stupid, Arod bats at the bottom of the order Joe Torre is stupid.
