I'm a Michigan fan and i can tell you he is insanely talented, yet he doesn't work very hard and won't go over the middle. If you have a coach who can get in his head he's worth a 3rd rnder. Supposedly Manningham had a meeting set-up with the Cowboys people including Jerry Jones. He skipped the meeting, and when asked about just said he had other things to do. The Cowboys felt that if he couldn't be bothered to meet with him, they weren't going to draft him. Some have said they removed him from the board completely. I also heard other teams had the same concerns and his drop is a result of that. What an idiot. He's so gifted physically. What a waste.

Merril Hoge is a moron. If you have the means, I recomend watching the nfl network. Agreed. He may have a legit excuse, however: he sued the Bears several years ago following a nasty bout of post-concussion syndrome.

I heard an interview with him on NFL Radio and I think he's functioning at around a 4th grade level. I was in awe. Guy's head is full of rocks. Yeah, he screems WR-diva. He reminds me of the idiot from Philly who trash-talked the Pats before the SB a couple of years ago (his name escapes me).

Bears still have eight more picks today. Wouldn't be surprised to seem them use two of them and maybe a low-end pick next yr to move up for more quality.

I was just looking at him and wondering where he was projected. I think that would be a really good pick for the Bears at that spot. Dixon reminds me quite a bit of Akili Smith.

You are probably giving Brennan too much credit here. Your're right. I was thinking along the lines of QB's who put up huge numbers in shotgun offenses and then have to learn to take a snap under ceneter, drop back and read defenses.

Brennan and Booty may still be there for them in the fourth. Dixon could be a project for them in the fifth. I want me some Booty for the Bears, and if not, I like some Johnson from SD.
