  1. Honestly, you're right. If Baker had ANY love for Corey, he would not let him go back out there. He might not survive.
  2. Adam Dunn got another hit. Oh, wait, you meant for the Cubs? Well, I hear merchandise sales were high in the stadium today after everyone stopped watching the game.
  3. isn't there a guy on the bench with a .400 average and .490 OBP? i think he has red hair. He's a righty, dude. Hollandsworth is, like, no slouch out there. Hollandsworth SAVED this team. I can't keep him on the bench. And besides, Murton is too young to play. He'll learn more from watching a great veteran like Holly. BURN DUSTY BURN!
  4. His hand won't be forced as long as 39,000 keep showing up everyday.
  5. Oooooh, some icing on this crap cake. I wasn't expecting that.
  6. This had better be a completely different team next year. I'm talking 90% new players. Keep the core, dump EVERYONE else. Even the peanut vendors. Although they might be useful in the outfield if our defense keeps slipping...
  7. Eh, I don't know about that. That's jumping from one lost cause to another. Although at least the Bears were smart enough to out and get a Kyle Orton, so there's some hope down the line.
  8. Pathetic. Why do we cheer for this team again?
  9. Eh, I'm realistic enough to know my Demons are going to get destroyed. With Diener gone, and now Mejia probably gone (shhhh, you didn't hear that from me), it's a rebuilding year for DePaul. And since last year was also a rebuilding year, I guess we're rebuilding what we rebuilt.
  10. Ah, the genius that is Dusty Baker! Is he not the worst manager in the major leagues? Yes, but the players like him, so it's okay.
  11. According to some people they'd still win a couple in the B/E. Oh, football is not what I'm waiting for in that conference. Basketball is going to be downright insane. I can't wait, I love college bball.
  12. BULLPEN TO THE RESCUE!!! oh, wait... nevermind.
  13. And again, Prior is guaranteed a No Decision. What a shame...
  14. Oh Goody! Hey it's my Big East buddy!!!! :D Louisville Cardinals gearing up for the BigEast season! Brian Brohm says "this is MY team now" I'm friends with Brian Brohm's cousin. I know that doesn't make me cool, but it's still fun to say. DePaul's gearing up for the Big East too. Too bad we're going to get battered in every single sport.
  15. Mark Prior: 7.0 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 2 HR, 11 K, 0 BB, 117 Pitches, and once again, probably a no decision.
  16. Prior has now given up 19 home runs on the year in 112 innings.
  17. Wow, his first homer of the year took place on August 9th...
  18. Prior 100 pitches through 6. I think he has maybe one more inning in him.
  19. Mrs. Griffey. Steve Kline The greater St. Louis area
  20. Yep, those two were horses in high school. I'd come into the weight room after they had been there for a half hour. I'd do my whole workout, and leave. And they'd still be in there long after I was gone. I honestly hope they can both turn that effort into NFL careers. Come on guys, we can't leave another stranded like this.
