  1. Apparently the refs got the memo to favor Dallas tonight. I've seen some BS pass interference calls before. That ranks right up there with the worst of them. If the EXACT same play had happened but with different uniforms, the refs wouldn't have called it. I guarantee it.
  2. Don't hold your breath. They appeared to have control when they scored their last touchdown, then let Dallas get the momentum back.
  3. The funniest part of that play to me was that Al Harris appeared to have no idea where the ball was on that play until TO had the ball in his hands. Al Harris has money on Dallas. That's the only explanation for him looking so awful.
  4. I'm pretty sure that I could be doing no worse than Al Harris tonight. Good Lord is he awful.
  5. Just wanted to rest them? In the most important game of the year? That's either untrue, or 100% proof McCarthy is [expletive]. Favre is now hurt, Rodgers is in and looking like the bust that he is. Packers have exactly 0 chance of coming here in the playoffs and winning. Their only chance is to get the Cowboys to come up into the cold, and that chance is going bye-bye real quick. That bust just threw the only packers TD (passing td) of the night. The Cowboys are geared to play Favre. Good for Rodgers, but I've seen plenty of bad QBs toss a TD pass or two. Oh i know, I was just saying. This game isn't looking good at all. Especially if Favre is gone for the night. I am sort of rooting for the Pack. I get sick of the NFC North being kicked around. And I hate the Cowboys. .....damn Pack can't even cover the kickoff. The Packers are reminding me a lot of the Cubs tonight.
  6. And Chris Collinsworth is openly rooting for Dallas, to the point where you think he's about ready to orally pleasure Tony Romo. It's been hard to root for the Packers with Favre playing like an idiot, giving the ball back to the Cowboys every possession. Tell me about it. "Hey! I think I'll throw deep into double coverage! Damn. That didn't work." "I know! I think I'll throw deep AGAIN into double coverage!!..... that didn't work either." "I know! This is brilliant. They'll never see it coming. I'll throw deep into double coverage!!!......damn. :(" "Hrmmm, maybe I should throw deep into double coverage some more." etc..

As if the Packers needed anything else.

  9. I can't wait to beat the Cowboys in Dallas and finally get that last monkey off our backs. I HATED that we had to play down there every single year during the Dallas glory years. The NFL said that's just the way it fell, but that was total and complete BS. That was fixed.
  10. I don't get the NFL network, but thankfully one of the network affiliates out of Milwaukee will be carrying the game so I'll be able to see it. Let's go Packers! Although with the injuries and lack of a running game, I'm not very optimistic.
  11. Someone page Jim Hendry. Another crappy Middle IF is available.
  12. Here's the link to the ESPN story, which they got from the AP: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3122567
  13. Any deal that Hendry makes from now on has to include 1-2 crappy middle IF going to the other team to clear up our surplus. I would disagree that the Cubs have a huge surplus right now if nobody else is signed as is rumored. Let's say DeRosa and Theriot are the starters. Infante is the right-handed platoon partner in CF and the backup to 2B and SS. Cedeno and Fontenot battle it out for the other bench spot, with Cedeno probably winning it. It wouldn't be bad if 1 of the middle IF's left via trade, but I disagree that there is a massive surplus of them. It's just that there's only 1 pretty good one among the group, and a bunch that are struggling to make it to average. Hendry has an entire offseason yet to add to his 2B/SS collection.
  14. The many times he looked like our only competent hitter, which, sadly, was far too often.
  15. We need to send in a team to take care of him. Who's interested in volunteering? I'll try to call Jack Bauer.
  16. I wouldn't mind keeping Kendall as the backup if the price was right. At least he can hit a little bit. Very little, but that's still more than Hank White can.
  17. Yes, those THREE blown saves he had last year were horrible. Especially in comparison to his TWENTY EIGHT converted saves. Dempster isn't that bad. Yes, but how many games did he have where he came in in a non-save situation and then proceeded to either give up the lead or let the other team right back into the game? I know it was certainly more than three.
  18. I've never been a big fan of guys who have underachieved and then suddenly post good-to-great numbers in their contract year.
  19. If this is a case, I hope he doesn't sign Fukudome to a ridiculous contract that will surely handcuff us 5-6 years down the road like he did with Soriano.
  20. With his offensive production, who cares?
  21. Somewhere, Albert Pujols quietly weeps.
  22. Well, that takes care of that. Mods, feel free to lock if you so desire.
