  1. SORIANO!!!! Cardinals Youtube guy is [expletive] a brick right now.
  2. As hot as Kouske's been, I'd pitch around him and pitch to Lee if I were TRL.
  3. i'm not surprised you would feel this way. I agree with Erik. I assure you, if you go back into some of our old game threads, especially the ones that were locked up, you'll find a lot more over reactionary than Elias here. The only reason you wont find any profanity is because its filtered out. Right, and Erick was the one reacting that way. Right, because I'm the only one who does that in game threads. Care to go back and look at the Milwaukee loss or the first loss of the Cardinals series and then come back here and say that I'm the only one doing it?
  4. Gregg didn't suck? Are we in the Twilight Zone?
  5. that doesn't make any sense. if his bat was slowing down a lot he should go the opposite way a lot because he can't get around on a good fastball. see jim edmonds in 2007-08, he went oppo all the time, a lot more than he did earlier in his career. derrek lee is not jim edmonds as long as lee conntinues to try and pull outside pitches (like he has been for about a year now) he's not going to be that good You'd think he'd figure this out by now, though, or Lou or Perry would have pointed it out to him. It's gotta be more than that. I refuse to believe any hitter could be that dumb.
  6. I don't really see what was quite so funny about it. Sure, when he started yelling profanity I chuckled a bit, but he doesn't seem like a whackjob, and replace the names of the Cardinals players in that rant with some Cubs players, and you pretty much have a game thread after a tough loss.
  7. Exactly. If they review the whole thing, Bradley made his point and then the ump made his. No harm, no foul. No reason to appeal. Just serve it while he's still missing games because of the groin issue. And since the ump decided to file a report, the Cubs should file a report regarding the horribly called game by the umpiring crew. With which Bud Selig would probably wipe his butt with.
  8. Like I said in yesterday's game thread: Opposing managers should intentionally walk the bases loaded to start every inning. The Cubs would be lucky to finish .500 on the season.
  9. Damn, that's just the way it goes when you're slumping. If you're hot, that ball lands fair.
  10. Nothing will settle him down more than getting out of this unscathed.
  11. Yeah, at this point this is where I kick my pitcher in the butt, first MLB start or 500th start. There is no earthly excuse to walk the pitcher.
  12. I have no idea who this is, or why I should be outraged.
