  1. STOP PITCHING TO ADRIAN GONZALEZ, DAMMIT!!
  2. Guys, I don't know if Lilly should be back out there after a rain delay. That's what ruined Lieber.
  3. One more, and then the skies can open up and pour for all I care.
  4. Ok, Ted. Make it a quick 1-2-3 here and get this game in the books.
  5. Are you kidding me? I would have believed Angelina Jolie would appear naked at my doorstep pledging her undying love for me before I believed Ryan Theriot would have a 2-homer game.
  6. Yeah, but I honestly thought it would be about 10-7 by now.
  7. Last guy I'd expect to lay one down. Beautiful, Milt.
  8. In other news, I just bought an Andre Dawson jersey on eBay and I'm super-stoked to get it.
  9. He did, but it wasn't his fault. The SS made a diving backhanded attempt. Everyone first thought he caught it, so Soriano retreated to second. Then, once it became obvious he dropped it, they got the force at 2nd and tagged Soriano out at 3rd. Nobody did anything wrong, though. Kouske smoked that.
  10. Dangit. Tough play, there. Not much you can do about that.
  11. 39 I believe. Ouch. Keep making him work. What's the Padres bullpen like?
  12. Geez, even I could go yard at Wrigley tonight..... ....if I was standing on 2nd base...... ..... and taking batting practice...... .......and hitting a superball
  13. Stay tuned, folks, I think we'll be talking about this one for a while.
  14. Say the game doesn't go 5. Can MLB decide to continue it tomorrow, or would it have to start over?
  15. Neither Young, nor Lilly are known for inducing a lot of ground balls, so this could get interesting. Should we start it now? Jack Clark just homered to left.
  16. Credit card rewards redemption. http://www.mlbextrabases.com I am betting there are a half dozen or so of us. so basically you're paying $500 to do it. Plus I get two $85 tickets. I have looked at it as paying $330. An amount I am more than happy with. You realize you have to throw a strike now, or you'll never live it down. And there will probably be pictures to preserve the moment. No pressure. ;) Seriously, though, how awesome is that? Good luck!
