Yeah right. They just put up 7 in 9 innings against Johan Santana and K Rod. We are going to have to win to keep pace. That really pissed me off last night. They have to be due for a cold stretch. Tony LaRussa sold his soul to Satan. That's the only explanation. That's just flat out ignorant, erik. Tony LaRussa IS Satan. I stand corrected.

That would certainly make up for losing that last game to the Marlins. That game didn't happen.

I'm not ready to write them off, but they are getting very close to dropping out of the race. Frankly, I'm surprised they hung around as long as they have with the extreme lack of pitching they've had. Losing both Sabathia and Sheets was too much to overcome.
