    Didn't Dusty do that to Harang a year or two ago? Yeah it was a game in SD, he was coming off a 100+ pitch start and then I want to say pitched 30-40 pitches in extras on 3 or less days rest. I believe he also made his next scheduled start. And then his arm fell off.

    David Ross hit his first career home run off of Mark Grace. I remember that game. Gracie was in there hamming it up on the mound, doing his best Mike Fetters impression.

    Can you imagine if one of the Mets would hit a home run? Years from now telling their grandkids about it: "Yeah, I remember the longest game I ever played in. I hit the go-ahead home run in the top of the 20th off of a guy who normally played shortstop" "Grandma, Grandpa is off his meds again!"

    Scoreless games like that always make me think back to a Cubs-Phillies game back in like 1991 or 1992 where the final score was 1-0 after 18 innings of play. Nothing really significant about that game other than it's the first game I remember going scoreless for that long.
