Bears should have already been interviewing candidates (Vrabel, Carroll, etc.) despite me not wanting any of them. Poles owns this ****** roster, he's had more than enough time to build/improve it. Sign Smith from KC. Draft OT DE G/C S 1 tech DT Coaches: A. Glenn HC Tanner Engstrand OC Whoever he wants as DC.

Agreed. His value is that of a backup swing tackle. He's not Charles Leno. LT should be of equal need as interior lineman. Fwiw, Wright has shown to be nothing more than an avg at best RT while J. Carter has been playing at a pro bowl level.

Assuming the Bears to finish around 5-6 wins, it'll put them in Carter territory. Ideally, Carter Interior DL Best C available (depending on run scheme) WR Depth FA: I like Trey Smith (G) KC and Bolles (LT) Denver.

I hope Brown does well enough to stick at a minimum of OC. I don't want to get into the sportstalk/meatball aspect of it but how important is it to change the culture of this team? I think they need a coach with some swagger/personality. If Brown continues to be successful with Williams and the offense, I'd love to see them in Aaron Glenn and maintain Brown as the OC.

Hopefully when the Bears bring in HC candidates, they do better than flying them coach (although I can see how that might confuse the McCaskeys). -

Quick outs and quick runs up the middle. This oline can not sustain a play that takes time to develop (sweeps and deep routes).
