  1. They should but they have no confidence in him. If they start getting incorrect playoff hopes, I wonder if Fields has a leash. To me that means they're bad coaches, confidence in him or not, they must try to build his confidence. TBD. I have no reason to believe that they can develop an offense.

  3. Yeah, I'm generally of the opinion that there's essentially no predictive value in rookie QB performance. But there's no shrugging off these kind of year 2 struggles. I believe Josh Allen is the only QB in the modern era to be straight up bad in year 2 and then go on to be an impact guy. One of the Ringer guys, I think Kevin Clark, suggested a few years back that a team in the QB desert should start just taking first or second round QBs every year until they get it right. I think that's an overcorrection, but I'm perfectly happy to do every other year. You have like an 80% idea on who your QB is after year 2. If you don't love what you're seeing at that point, you don't have to wait until the end of year 3 or 4 when you're 100% sure to finally make a move It makes sense. Get one every year to see what you got. If they suck, you hide them until the next year and try and get a 2-4th rounder and keep the good ones (unless you're the Bears and they all suck). Keep them on rookie contracts, etc.
  4. Agreed. Instincts and bad mechanics outweigh a strong arm and athleticism.
  5. Can't wait for the draw.

  13. We're used to it.
  14. horsefeathering terrible by Eberflus.
  15. Mooney as a #1?
  16. Don’t forget Ebners 2 kickoff returns that haven’t gotten to the 25 yard line Not having Jones at all hurts so many ways.
  17. Hard to imagine a team with no Oline and WRs going into an offseason still have no Oline and WRs
  18. What the hell was that?
  19. Mooney needs to catch that.
  20. Ebner definitely isn't as elusive as Montgomery and Herbert.
  21. It's hard to say this but Fields looked better under Nagy than Getsy.
  22. Coaches have given up and so have the players.
  23. Trash series there.
  24. Under 30 yards passing in the quarter.
