Am I wrong in still wanting the Bears to draft a WR in the 1st given that Claypool is a #2 and Mooney is a #3 on a good offense? -

No horsefeathering thank you lol It was going to cost a lot either way. He doesn't want to come back even if the Bears were the highest bidder, IMO. With that said, I wanted him and Johnson signed long-term.

Montgomery should be next. I want to see Herbert with a full workload. They'd get a 7th at best. He's worth more to keep Fields safe and Herbert fresh.

The Bears will likely have their choice between Johnson of OSU and the T from Northwestern as the best T of the draft. It's pretty weak in terms of T.

Agreed, Kmet is a bust given his draft position but he's average among NFL TEs. My goal would be draft a WR in the 1st, Interior OL in the 2nd, HB in the 3rd. Sign Orlando Brown and Deron Payne as FAs. That would be my primary moves of the offseason. I don't think Brown is a fit. Mentioned wanting smaller, quick linemen. Plus he wants top of the league LT money when hr should be at RT and isn't even the best there. Payne would be a dream. Makes the whole DL much better and thus makes LBs better. I'm not big on Jenkins at T, I'm torn between Conklin and Brown as far as the good not great options at T.
